By showing him early where to go. So far (knock on wood) he is going where he should. He seems to sense that one yard is out of bounds. Maybe he got some hate already :)

He is a cute boy tho and if you love cats at all you love Buddy :) On Friday my neighbor (GREAT guy) had a party and Buddy was over there till about 11:00 hanging out. Till it started to rain. Just hangs out and watches.

Difference now (compared to when he was only 6 months and got lost) is the cat door on a perch (up a couple steps) Now he can find his way home always :thumbsup
