President Obama doesn't decide how many police officers or firemen my hometown hires. They are city employees, not federal employees. Same with teachers, who locally in my area are county employees working for the country school district. So I have no idea where your saying Obama has decided to cut police and fire.

As for our military, I was unaware it was cut. However, it makes perfect sense really - We no longer have troops in Iraq, so I would imagine it would cut back on expenses - A LOT.

And as for the healthcare system? If it's better, why are so many doctors closing up shop? why are the hospitals laying off so many people? you obviosly know nothing about obamacare....

I never understood the concept of trickle down economics. I don't decide how many people I can employe depending on how much taxes I have to pay. It's decided by how much I need. You don't lower my taxes and I say "Gee, I can hire another person".

I love how they said we should have kept quiet about it for a week or two so we could go through all of that intelligence we collected? Because, you know, it would look really good if we staged a military raid in a foreign country and denied it for a week while the press asked questions. The funny thing is under the Obama administration there are Federal grants available where towns can apply for that will allow them to hire an extra police officer or two based on their need. They are offered in response to towns being hard up for cash since the bottom fell out but still in dire need of police services. The goal is to pay the salary for a year or two while the towns work on fixing their budgets since tax revenues are down so much.

I do know our home town got some money from the federal government for equipment... Our town bought some license plate readers. They are fucking cool really - They sit up by the sirens and scan and read license plates, and automatically check them through the computer and give cops a warning if if a plate is late on their tags or is a suspect or something.

But people need to understand that the Federal government cannot fix everything - starting with police officers. Great, there are grants that will be pay the salary for an officer or two - but that's not going to help Stockton California that was full of crime before the recession and cut backs. And an officer or two is not going to help my hometown who has slashed 1/3 of it's officers - and is still starving for equipment.

They show video footage of reporters talking about leaks and it looks bad, but the truth is they aren't talking about the Bin Laden raid - One of them says "Drip drip drip what's up with all of the leaks during the first year of the Obama administration?" while the truth is Obama took office in 2009... The first year of his administration puts us into January of 2010, while Obama was killed in 2011. It's a slick video that completely distorts the truth.
