Well, but those official girls sites are mostly pay-sites. Surfers don't want to pay for porn (most of them) and Google knows that. Anyway, it would rank better with a better link profile.

If they are searching for an EMD they might be interested in paying, or at least taking a look, if they weren't they would add "free" "tube" to their search.

Not sure if you even know what an EMD is. If you search for an EMD it should always rank #1 unless it's penalized or has no incoming links.

Thats common sense, if you enter "model name" you should see official site at least on the first page. Otherwise it makes no sense. But to be honest I think that they do not check all keywords manually - if they are pornstar name or just some not branded EMD keyword.

I'll help you out "Google EMD ALGO UPDATE". Since the 29th EMDs are being penalized, not just losing their advantage but actually penalized, it's what I'm seeing and it is what every webmaster is reporting in thousands of posts around forums. Sure if an EMD has tons more inbound links than the competition it will keep the top spot but that is now in spite of it's name. With equal back link EMDs now rank lower than non-EMDs. Get it?

Maybe we read diff. WM forums... many WMs feel they have quality original content and a good backlink profile. In fact, their backlink profile sucks (same money anchors etc.).

My EMDs survived, except two new ones, and I have to admit they have barely any incoming links to them. So far it seems I would benefit from this update (traffic is up) and there are many webmasters reporting the same.

The thing is that this algo tweak is not done yet, it slammed low quality EMDs but some got hit by mistake, so probably there will be another tweak soon after googlers will process the feedback of errors.

@Denny I agree with you about quality and link profile stuff. This update means that it won't be that easy to rank with good EMD domain only.

Trying to figure out why one of our sites (amateurporn.net) was hit so hard. We use to be #1 for "amateur porn" and now it cant be found.

Its a very competitive term, and even with this particular EMD it took us almost 2 years to rank it in google.

With high competition terms, its not that easy to rank .net EMDs high. With low volume EMDs I can get it to rank in a week.

To be honest I do not think it was easy. I always ranked super easy for EMD keywords on yahoo/bing and I was not even in top30 on google. Most of my EMD's were #1 spots on bing and deep deep under on google.

Might have something to do with the fact that gofuckyourself.com is not the domain any more.
