Jobs was also instrumental in funding and launching Pixar (he was the major shareholder in the beginning).

My mind has just been blown. I can't believe it has been a year already. It feels like he died only about 4-5 months ago. Wow time flies.

RIP Steve.

Steve Jobs was one of the biggest assholes on the planet. But anyway, R.I.P.

"When the time for prayer comes, the worshipper lays the rug on the ground, so that the top points towards the direction of Steve Jobs TOMB, Alta Mesa Memorial Park. After prayer, the rug is immediately folded or rolled, and put away for the next year's use."

He was not defined by the Mac, in fact he proved he was bigger than Apple if you look at what he did while away and what thy did with him vs without him. Sure, he was no Hulk Hogan or Paris Hilton... So there are people out there for you to admire instead, don't worry. ;)

So he created and presided over a couple of companies, and filed some patents. Something no-one has ever done before or since. Clearly he is bigger than Jesus.

Yep.

Got that everyone? Steve Jobs invented the Internet.

You make it so easy for others to see what an asshole you are - you take the guess work out of it.

Cry like a pathetic bitch elsewhere, please. If you weren't trying claim the WWW for Jobs, then what were you doing?

I think it's more accurate to credit Commodore, Atari and, outside the US, Sinclair, for bringing computers into homes. Either way, though, it wasn't Apple.

Evidently posting something that was obvious to everyone else but way beyond your comprehension skills.

So everyone else knows what you meant, but you can't explain it yourself?

If I was trolling, I'd attempt to credit Steve Jobs with the WWW.

Point out where I said Steve Jobs invented in the internet.

Then lube up your ears and re-insert your head up your asshole.

I'll ask again, perhaps you can answer this time, instead of deflecting:

If you weren't trying claim the WWW for Jobs, what were you doing?

Simple question, buddy. Not sure why you're having so much trouble with it.

You failed to point out where I claimed he invented the 'net.

Fail.

Thanks for playing troll.

You failed to give an alternative meaning for your post. So either you were claiming he invented the net, or you're an idiot who doesn't know what he's saying.

Here you go.

Although you won't comprehend that, either...it's amusing watching you try.

At some point your stupidity will eventually reach a critical mass and collapse on itself.

You're unable to state your position, after being asked several times, so how can it be misrepresented?

How about I give you a reminder?

A few hours ago, after reading the post by Relentless, you read the Wiki page of Steve Jobs, who you previously knew nothing about, other than his time at Apple. You read all about PIXAR and clicked a link to 'NeXT' and saw the picture, that you posted, of the computer Tim Berners-Lee happened to use. You then excitedly rushed to GFY to tell everyone they had 'forgotten' what you had just discovered 5 seconds earlier, that Steve Jobs invented the internet. The End.

CurrentlySober 10-06-2012 11:33 AM

RIP Steve...

Congrats on reaching full-on retard mode.

Completely contrary to your amazing ASSumption above - our college computer lab had an NeXT system in '89 - on which we ran a telegard BBS at the time - we were well aware of Jobs before Wiki even existed.

But please...keep making wild postulations in a lame attempt to validate your StrawMan position. Good solid entertainment. :thumbsup
