That thread read to me like he was asked a question and gave an opinion. What is was not, your original reply, accusing a company of nefarious deeds. Actually, the true irony is you just did exactly what your original reply was that you thought he got banned for.

Some people never learn. That is easily one of the most broken rules that result in getting people banned. Rightfully so.

If you're going to accuse people of something, have proof in order with accusation, or accept your ban like a champ.
