Well thanks, I enjoyed doing the same exact search I did last night. There were exactly zero references to cronkite admitting he was a commie. The "best" that search comes up is some far-right-wing blogger calling him a commie.

That is your opinion. My opinion would be that he is nothing like Jerry Springer. Sure you may disagree with Piers, but I've heard him ask some good questions. All Springer does is pit rednecks against each other for profit then tries to justify his actions with a little moral speech at the end. There's no comparison between these two, in my opinion.
