No way. If you think that is a red card then you've never played the game. A free kick MAYBE!! Nani was looking at the ball the whole time and just trying to control it. Furthermore, as a defender coming into a players 'blind spot', you know you are open to get creamed ... It's the same as taking on a keeper who is clearing the ball.
