How many total skaters are you guys taking in, not including goalies?

I am trying to gauge the response to yours in order to put something together for Vegas.

If, say, 30 or more wanted to play, then I would think about doing 30 minute games with 10 players per and have team 1 play team 2, then team 3 play team 1, then team 3 play team 2 so it could be mini-tourney style, overall winners based on points, etc.

The place in Vegas has a restaurant and bar overlooking the rink with view of a scoreboard so it could work for a party scenario...

Was thinking "Webmaster Hockey League" but looks like WHL is already taken...:winkwink:

FOr Vegas, the equipment could be a concern maybe ?

Even in Mtl, its not that easy to rent a lot of complete hockey kit. This is could be a bigger challenge in the desert , not a lot of shops with used hockey equipment's to rent/sell i guess... !

The Vegas ice rink is pretty big, lots of small leagues play there... Equipment could be brought in from LA as well for the weekend?

I don't mind the fees to bring my bag but I will look into gear because it probably is wrong to assume that everyone won't mind dealing with that.

Even if I could make your game I would still carry my own stuff. Rental skates tend to suck, but usually most rinks have at least helmets and usually a closet full of pads, gloves, sticks, etc, but I will find out.

In any event, the scrimmages that Amacontent Joe throws every year at Staples brings in webmasters from all over that bring their gear so I think with enough advance notice it shouldn't be an issue but good thing to consider.

How are you dealing with that?

Does your rink rent full gear? I have never heard of that before, even in Canada. Without pads though you might as well make it a curling showdown... :winkwink:

How are you dealing with all the gear or is everyone just bringing their own stuff?

Most of participants don't have an equipment, so we found a place where we can rent some of them, plus some parts has to be bought...

That's why we have limited spots, and btw where pretty full right now, still, write to us if your interested, we may have some new openings...

Well because we had none yet, we decide to hire one. But normally there a second one for icing, offside etc.. so if you want to do it, it could be possible...
