Joel, I wonder if I could ask a huge favor - I want to put another one of these webmaster party/hockey scrimmage and free skate events together this January during the show in Vegas - would you mind doing an informal census on who might be interested in playing?

btw... If anyone is going to the Staples scrimmage and webmaster party this year that is also going to Vegas then we could arrange to take their gear there from LA since the two events are in such proximity to each other.

I didn't want to keep bugging you guys because I know you are busy enough putting this one together, but I would love to lay the ground work for making this a staple party of shows, on a par with the fun factor of racing, or naked v-ball, or like the parties of yesteryear at Gameworks.

My goal would be to rent enough time that it could be a full blown party, where there could be an open skate, pre-scrimmage, then involve the party go-ers in the game even if they are not on the ice by giving a prize to everyone that picks the winner, etc. A couple more "ice games" (like you see between periods while the ice is getting cut) but properly
"sexified" and you can see where I am going with it.

I am just super happy you guys are doing something I have wanted to do for a few years and wish you the best time and wish I could be there.

I haven't done a proper party in a while, but ask anyone that knows our history... Homegrown knows how to throw down when it comes to laying on a good time for all. :winkwink::winkwink:

I want in - but it will have to be for Vegas, it looks like I cant make the Montreal show. Im a goalie, I saw Johnny say he was a goalie too. So that is two of us. I play 3-4 times a week now, so I should be a pretty good target for you snipers if you get the Vegas game off the ground.. Not sure my gear should be held in closed quarters on a plane though... could be a weapon of mass destruction if the zipper is opened.

Someone MUST be on photo duty for this event in Montreal. I cant wait to see that.

3 or 4 days a week is typically what i play these days too and I have a tough enough time getting my gear to dry... can only imagine goalie gear... the potential stank from that could melt paint off walls.

Hahaha.. yeah. I set it out right by the furnace in the winter, it dries out well. IN the summer, I put it in the laundry room and run the dryer.

I stopped putting it in the garage ever since I had a huge wolf spider decide thats where she was going to unload her egg sack.
