Exactly, im living in 19 century country where people don't understand that internet exists and it's normal that someone gotta work over the internet and from home. I had really big problems to explain people all what i work and that it's normal, milions of people work from home. Until one day pressure got so high that i told them to go fuck them self. All of them who don't like how i earn for a living and don't and won't understand me.

I am 4 years younger than my brother, started working from 22 years and now im 27 years, and never had a working day in some company and achieved twice more in my life than my brother who is working from 16 years.

So why would i feel bad? because they are too stupid to understand me?

So to the OP just don't mind about that stuff who cares how you work, what you work, and where you work. And you shouldn't care either how they look at you. As long as you are happy with that business and satisfied, be friendly with those who mind their own business and :321GFY those who give you "THAT" look.

I absolutely loved reading all of your responses, and it makes me proud that I chose this industry and proud to be amongst so many of you who have extracted themselves from the matrix and remain true to themselves regardless of what others may think or say!

Freaking awesome and I know at the end of the day we don't agree on everything as an industry but we can often times relate to the exact same situations we encounter on a daily basis.

I've never had "the look" but-

1) My immediate neighbours can probably see some blinking server lights from their second storey window, so at least they don't think I'm a drug dealer (hopefully)

2) I love doing a 7am munchies run knowing that I'm going in the opposite direction to everyone else that's trying to get to work. Me: 100 & cruising. Them: 20 in stop-start traffic.

I got 'the look' the other day because I had an M&S carrier bag.....

I get that look, not really from neighbors but mostly I've heard grumblings from the doormen at my building. Nosy fuckers. I heard (from a neighbor/friend) that they have said I'm "weird" because I come in and out at odd hours and that "who knows what he does for a living". They seem to be bitter because they consider themselves working men who come in to work every day, even it is a mundane job like holding doors open. Envious cocksuckers love to hate.

do you work from home or go to an office?

Most of our neighbours are nurses (big teaching hospital within walking distance) and so work weird shift hours. I told them all I work in the entertainment industry. My wife working regular hours lends a little 'normalcy' to the household.

same here, ocassionally wave or hi but don't really know them, most people too fucking busy these days to give a shit :2 cents:
