London, in fact any of UK, is is not part of the Schengen Agreement = no automatic unchecked border crossing for Fabian.

That is not to say he could not go to UK, but permissions, agreements etc would be needed from those managing his home arrest and UK passport and border control.

Hard to see why UK would want someone facing criminal charges visiting, although if their office was in North Ireland, the company would be paying UK taxes the sort of hypocrisy governments revel in.

But it's not, that was the whole point of being in a (non UK) low tax area - the office is in Dublin in the South/Republic of Ireland, where there's good tax breaks, but they're outside the Schengen Area also.

I don't see that Dublin would deny him entry if Belgium said OK - He has/had a lot of money invested their after all - Then he could travel to London unencumbered...

Fabian Thylmann stated that he is sure his departure/ouster had been rumored at Manwin offices for months. If that is so, then why didn't he speak out earlier to put the rumors to rest, and re-instill confidence in his leadership (if the rumblings were untrue rumors)?

So what is Fabian's explanation for his sudden decision to abruptly sell out and abandon his ownership of Manwin?

If Manwin was doing as well as Fabian always assured everyone it was, and he truly owned the company, why then would he suddenly sell out to employees that he claims only had a 1-2% ownership (and how could they possibly afford it)?

From reading the newspaper reports I think he was under house arrest for just a few weeks and then released after paying a massive amount in bail. I think where and when one could travel while on bail would be decided by the court in question.

AFAIK you can apply to a court to travel and they make a decision if its a risk or not - So Fabian could say to a court I have X number of employees and I need to travel to Ireland to secure their jobs...

Some of the tube thieves that were behind Mansef when Fabian came aboard as the new owner/face, are still with Manwin today, and may even be behind Fabian's sudden departure. Talk about no honor among thieves.

Remember, Mansef (the Manwin precursor) had to surrender millions in an FBI money laundering investigation, so there is no reason to expect anything better than Mansef-style business as usual (under a different name of course), if the rumors are true about who the new/old "owners" are.

For his part, Fabian at least claimed to be battling piracy with Vobile fingerprinting technology, etc (although he was paying for ads on Pirate Bay, etc., at the same time).

At least with Fabian, Manwin had a public face, albeit a reclusive one (at first by choice, later by house arrest).

With Fabian's departure, Manwin appears to have retreated right back into the shadows from whence it was birthed. Neither AVN or X-Biz (both who appear to be reporting the same account provided earlier by Mike South) seemed to have any comment from the new King of Porn, er...Managing Partner (or whatever) of Manwin/sef.

Mansef holdover Feras Antoon appears to be the one behind the coup...Feras was the one that proclaimed himself supreme commander during Fabian's incarceration in Belgium and Germany. Unsurprising then that Mike South would call him out as the leader of a disloyal faction at Manwin months ago (Nathan maybe should have fired Feras after he got out of the joint, when he still had the chance - maybe he should have trusted or at least paid more attention to Mike South's rumor last August, lol).

I don't know Nathan, but in some way, I kind of feel for the guy, because I'm sure when he was sitting up on that stage in Las Vegas looking down upon the rest of the industry, and telling everyone about his dreams for Manwin, I doubt that he ever imagined that it would come to such an abrupt end so soon, and that the thing he will be most remembered for is getting arrested for tax evasion (and battling with Mike and Robbie). :helpme

Fabian should have plenty of money to reinvent himself. Also, his brother Oliver has made quite a name for himself in mainstream, so it shouldn't be hard for Fabian to say so long to porn (after being deposed as King of Porn), and go make his mark in mainstream, unless he really is a pornographer at heart (or he just doesn't know how to do anything else).

Anyway, hopefully the experience will make Fabian a better person. If so, then I wish him well. :)

BTW, what a hoot seeing some of those on the Manwin payroll trip over one another to genuflect before their new purse holder, without so much as a small nod or thank you to Fabian (at least Shap had the courtesy to say something nice before namedropping Santana).
