the bottom line is big govt cant fix your fucking problems. they fuck up like 90% of the shit they get their hands on. thats not a good winning %, especially when the losses are damaging.

the one area they have been good in is policing greedy banks, to some extent, but even then it's come up short.

tomorrow at the SOTU, obama will propose a corporate tax rate cut down to 28%, but then he will propose a series of rate hikes that fuck over the small business owner. so the rich get richer, and the kinda rich get fucked. i read that of 32 million business tax returns, 2million will get a cut, and 30m will get fucked. great way to spur job growth. im sure we'll hear that the 'rich' can 'pay a little more' and "pay their fair share." - the way he typically oversimplifies everything to the mob.

he'll use those tax hikes to create a bigger government, which will be pointless, since the government is trash at everything. thankfully, without House support, it likely won't get passed - as this is a rehashed plan from 2 years ago that no one took seriously, and given how poor people think of him, the republicans might be able to claim the Senate in 2014.

The Republicans also now have a replacement health care plan that is actually a bit more logical, and a step down from Obamacare, but not a total repeal. It allows people to not be denied for coverage one-time, which means if you have continuous coverage, and then get sick, insurance companies always have to take you, even if you switch between plans (personal and business, or just switch different companies). This means you cant just get sick, and then pick up coverage, so it helps to keep everyones costs down and rewards responsbility by having continuous coverage from when you are healthy. It also allows kids to stay on until 26, and kills off all the mandates that require you to have insurance, and/or penalize you if you dont. It won't insure as many people, but if you aren't irresponsible and actually value health insurance and being a "net contributor" before you start sucking down health services, it will work out great.

Biggy let me go ahead and answer your excellent post on behalf of the ObamaManiacs who wear blinders. I'm going to condense it down, but I'll hit all their talking points:

"Racist, Fox News, George Bush, Koch Brothers"

I think that about covers it. They don't have any actual ideas that work. So they just throw those same things out over and over and over. I just saved them some time, because unlike the govt., I am efficient.

EDIT: I'm sure the BFT3K and ADG will also post some childish pictures as well and/or copy-paste a long 1000 word wall of text taken from an extreme Democrat Party website. But since that isn't efficient and nobody pays attention to them anyway...I'll just skip that.

The way it sounds the republican healthcare plan will be not much, if any better for a few reasons.

First, If you have a one-time ability to not be denied coverage then many people will simply not buy it until they get sick or hurt then keep it afterwards. Also, having to maintain the coverage or risk not being accepted again is basically a mandate without calling it a mandate. If you let your coverage lapse then try to get coverage again down the road they would be able to deny you for any number of reasons.

Second, You don't mention it, but what about those who can't afford coverage? Is there medicaid option or something in place for those who can't afford to buy health insurance?

Third, It appears to do nothing about the rising costs of healthcare. Premiums are going up because the cost of healthcare is going through the roof. The other day I saw something that was kind of interesting. The cost of a hip replacement in the US is around $42K. The same exact procedure in Spain is about $7K. So it would actually be cheaper to buy a ticket to Spain, live their for a year, learn Spanish, get your hip replaced then run with the bulls than it is to get your hip replaced here. Until something is done about the crazy costs of healthcare and medication the costs of insurance is going to continue to rise.

Obama care is the Gop plan, it was the Dole care to go against Hilary care. Newt praised it at the time, that everyone having to buy health insurance is personal responsibility. The only way insurance works is risk is spread over alots of people. Also to not deny you coverage if you already have coverage on the gop plan, that cuts all those people like dyna mo who for the first time in a long time he could have health insurance and they couldn't deny him.
The other problem with health insurance is people have no fucking idea what their policy covers and it doesnt cover. So when the law came to be and someone was told your policy was dropped go get a new one. They didnt realize the law is protecting me because before they was paying $50 to $500 a month for a policy that covered close to nothing or could drop you if you got too expensive.
Here is a prime example https://youtube.com/watch?v=WCkBNZVhpdI

They should of did medicare for all, you get a base plan and you want more you can buy insurance add ons. But Obama isnt a liberal no matter how much pundits want to make him that, so it wasnt even on the table because Obama was working with Insurance Companies from day one.
I have had my own policy I paid for since 2000 it has gone up every year, plans were dropped and I had to up deductibles so I wasnt paying 1200 a month. And it was long both Obama was president.
