I'd say 2 hours in Brno is about an hour more than you need. Maybe there's a few cool industry people there, but overall I found the people in Brno to be extremely unfriendly (and that's coming from someone who lives in Prague).

you met our waiter at Posledni Leč? it's just a mask, he's great guy :) after he insults you dozen of times, he'll let you pay him a drink...

WOW that looks amazing Ma! Never been to Brno but I am thinking if I move to CZ that Brno might be better than tourist-y Prague. :)

Prague has more choices when it comes to culture, entertainment and shopping

but it also has more dirt, traffic jams and tourists.

and is more expensive

for "younger" people Prague might be the better choice - or when you are employed because of more job opportunities and better pay

but for me Brno is perfect

I relocated in 2009 from Amsterdam to Brno and to be honest I love it here.

Clean air, no crime, good business location, living here is good and you are in 2 hour driving distance to the neighbor countries (Austria, Slovakia, Hungary).

About nightlife, you can have the craziest nights here, all fun and pleasure but it really depend on yourself in what you are looking for.

The people here are friendly and what I love the most in this part of Czech is the nature (lots of hills/forest).

I like Prague but would never want to live their but maybe that comes with the age :D
