You can't link the WordPress gallery to another site. Please read this: http://codex.wordpress.org/Gallery_Shortcode. You should use banners and text links instead.

Yes of course. That's the main purpose of the plugin.

The second ones can not be imported. It's not a problem for the script to pare the linked HTML page and get the image from there. However it's a problem to find out which exactly image must be taken in case if there is more than one picture.

Just added a mass import function with a post scheduler. It works as easy as follows:

Many customers ask me by email on how the plugin imports lots of galleries from a text dump that fast (say 1000 FHG's at once). So I decided to explain it here.

The plugin does not physically import the galleries in the bunch import mode when the "Import" button is pressed. It just creates the posts (one gallery = one post) and inserts the gallery_magic shortcodes there, so it doesn't take a lot of time to process even a huge dump. To make it import the actual images and crop the thumbnails, you have to open the post in the browser. When you do that for the first time, the gallery_magic shortcode will be replaced with the actual gallery. Thus it may take some time till the post will be finally displayed. This is for the first time only! After that the post will appear w/o any delays.

yeah I would be interested in a plugin to make posting galleries less tedious. my site is young-girls [ com

can you see what im doing at the Young Videos link - that is what i want, and i want to be able to insert flash/animated ads between blocks of galleries.

Just saw this, it looks good but is it much different from Remote Images Grabber?

Don't know it just doesn't work for me. I've just installed it on my test blog, tried to grab the following gallery: http://dailypicksandflicks.com/2011/...y-of-the-week/ and got this message:

Quote:

Warning: tempnam(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s): (/var/www/*****/data:.) in /var/www/*****/data/www/*****/wp-content/plugins/remote-images-grabber/remote-images-grabber.php on line 64 Warning: file_get_contents(): Filename cannot be empty in /var/www/*****/data/www/*****/wp-content/plugins/remote-images-grabber/remote-images-grabber.php on line 72

Warning: unlink(): open_basedir restriction in effect. Nothing to grab.
Please try it by yourself, maybe you'll be more lucky.

Also from the description of "Remote Images Grabber", it looks like the plugin does only import the images into the library but does not use them to generate the posts. So, I don't understand how it could be used in this industry. E.g. you can't simple give it an FHG dump and make it to generate 1000's of posts on autopilot (there is no scheduler etc). On the other hand, my plugin does it all just easily.

P.S. And course my plugin won't be asking you to provide the "Base URL for relative paths" (like Remote Images Grabber does) when it grabs the images. It will take care of such things by itself.

The Heron 05-21-2014 12:35 AM

I use the remote images grabber, it pulls in the pics from fhgs pretty well though it does fail depending on the gallery setups. You're right it works best importing each gallery individually but I have used it to pull in the images from a bulk list a few times.
I didn't see yours had a scheduler and I am confused since you say you have to update/save each post before the gallery is created then how does the bulk importing really save time?
I'm sure yours imports better then the one I listed so that alone is probably worth paying for.

Note the "Start Date" and "Frequency" fields on a screenshot above. Using these values you can schedule the post generation process.

No, you just didn't get it right. When you import a bunch of galleries from a dump, the plugin does not physically pull the actual images from the remote galleries because such an operation may take many hours. Just imagine parsing of 1000's remote galleries, downloading all the detected images and cropping the thumbnails at once. This is just insane.

So the plugin simple creates 1000's of posts (one post per FHG from a dump) and inserts the gallery_magic shortcodes into them. This operation does not require a lot of time. After that when you, a surfer or an SE spider open one of these posts, the plugin creates the actual gallery (downloads the remote images, crops the thumbnails etc), inserts it into that post and displays it. This operation will be performed for every post only once and it's fully automatic. I.e. it does not require any manual actions from you or from anybody else.

The Heron 05-21-2014 05:37 AM

Ah ok then yours is by far a more advanced option. I misunderstood and will probably be buying soon.

jimmycastor 05-21-2014 05:47 AM

is the price per blog, per server or pay once and use it everywhere ??
no details about that on your site if i see right...

The 3rd. The license is unlimited, so you can use the plugin on the unlimited number of sites and/or hosts.

BladeZ 05-21-2014 06:12 AM

It works fantastic :)

just a punk 05-22-2014 05:43 AM

Just added a possibility to insert custom HTML blocks (banners, text ads, whatever) above and/or under every gallery, created via bunch import mode.

Please make sure to click the "Check for Updates" button to update your copy of the plugin.

just a punk 05-25-2014 08:03 AM

Fixed a plugin a bit. Now the plugin imports correctly the galleries with an exotic HTML structure. E.g. this one: http://gallys.realitykings.com/we/1392

Tech support is Solid

I have bought multiple products from this poster and have experienced incredible tech support.

Panty Snatcher 06-01-2014 06:56 AM

is the new plugin part of the cyberSOE plug in

ruff 06-01-2014 02:46 PM

I bought it a couple of days ago and I'm impressed. It is simple and powerful. It does just what I wanted to do. I also did not realize the license is unlimited, so that's a nice bonus.

cybermike 06-02-2014 10:25 AM

Just bought this plugin and used it for a couple of sponsors fhg.. so far its great! :)

No, it is not. But those plugins can be used together w/o any problems. I.e. they are fully compatible. For example, you can easily to import the galleries from any sponsor-hosted feed (like this or like that) on autopilot with CyberSEO and the Gallery Magic plugins.

cybermike 06-02-2014 01:50 PM

Hey quick question.. is there a setting on how it labels the files.. seems like it always starts with 06 and for some reason every gallery I rip the first 2 thumbs/files are always showing up at the end of the gallery making me manually sort those 2 to the top

It's all depends on your WP settings. For example, on my test blog today all the images come with the following names:

http://www.blogname.com/wp-content/u...lery-name1.jpg
http://www.blogname.com/wp-content/u...lery-name2.jpg
http://www.blogname.com/wp-content/u...lery-name3.jpg
etc?

In Jule the will be labeled as

http://www.blogname.com/wp-content/u...lery-name1.jpg
http://www.blogname.com/wp-content/u...lery-name2.jpg
http://www.blogname.com/wp-content/u...lery-name3.jpg
etc?
