You can't do anything about a model giving out cropped pics, but you can certainly do something when the content owner turns up and says they are his. jesus.

Who would you hurt by having the photographs removed, certainly not me, I am not there agent or have any business with them.

They asked my to post to help them find work. They sent me the pictures they wanted to use. You lot get your knickers in a twist.

Or maybe they are just doing what the models requested, because they are the ones looking for work, and they know which pictures they want to show.

The girls I shoot are not, except for a selection of images I give them. They get paid to model, I retain copyright, I decide who gets to use them and who doesn't. Those that don't have permission either get a DMCA or a letter from my solicitor in the majority of cases, others get an invoice.

For sheer arrogance and ignorance, your host and associated services would have had a DMCA from me by now.

Yes you have those rights, you can be as tight assed as you want.

But as they are not your photographs, and the photographer whose they are gave them to the model.

Don't want them used - don't give them to the model.

It is common practice in the creative industries for people to send show reels of films ads they have worked on, but are others copyright, in order to find work. As this is not a commercial exploitation of the work but just being shown as an example.

Just to add;

I spoke to Anne, the first model, and she said....

The photos were given to her on her request for the purpose of finding more work.

That they did NOT have any watermarks on them.

A. The models should use the pictures to promote themselves and look for work.
B. They should not crop out the watermark under any circumstances unless they own them.
C. Models should hire good photographers to shoot their portfolios if they want to do anything at all with the images.
D. I don't think it fair to blame cherry 7 for posting what the girls give her. She is not the photo police. How is she supposed to know if an image is cropped? Also she is helping the girls find work and helping us see new girls.

She is a he. No one was blaming him for posting what the girls gave him, they were incredulous that after the person that owns the pics posted here, he didn't then explain to the girls not to fucking crop the watermarks off and delete the pics.

I absolutely agree that girls need to be educated to not crop watermarks. And I don't understand why photographers post other photographers pictures (have I ever done that?) be we are in a pool of amateurs and pros here so it is bound to happen.

Why would they, I or they had no interest in denying the ownership of the pictures.

The owner of the pictures had given the model (pictures made with her ) permission to use the pictures. Not to show her family but to seek work.

This pictures were not used to create traffic or for any other purpose other than finding work for the models.

The first girl is really cute, but second one looks like a whore and drunkard too.

Odd that the owner of the pictures posted how annoyed he is the watermarks were cropped off then, isn't it?

Do the photos looked cropped? I don't know how to remove watermarks and could not be bothered, neither does the model.

Or the photographs were never watermarked in the first place.

And as the photographer ( who knows her) who was "very annoyed" has not bothered to contact the model by email or phone to ask her, or her agent.

Far easier to create a little storm on GFY where no evidence is required just the cry of the mob.
