It is tight at the top! Going to be a race for the top 3 this season in our league!
|
2 awful weeks results wise, bet the bookies loved that, and totally fucked up by keeping Kane instead of going for austin as captain in bonus week... had an extreme brain fart and felt kane would get more than double points of austin even with 1 game vs 2, forgetting of course that it'd be 4 lots of points for austin, not just 2 ><
Kane off the boil also anyway, and blah blah I'm just making excuses now lol. 1st season doing it though, and learnt some stuff so hopefully I'll improve next season :) Good luck to those up at the top :thumbsup |
Yeah Jel, I forgot to make my changes in week 31 and thought I majorly screwed up, but fortunately it looks like I dodged a bit of a bullet.

Game week 32 Complete:
We are now into the final stretch. This season has flown by with just 6 more game weeks to go. CFC look to be on course for the title but they still have a couple of hurdles to go with United and Arsenal in the coming weeks. Now is the time when the lower teams in the league fight to be in the EPL which changes so much. The top 4 is still very much unknown with every one of the teams wanting to get into the CL next season. Could we all be in for a shock and see City fail to get back into the CL. United are back into form and can Southampton finish the season above Liverpool. So much for many teams to fight for gotta love the EPL! Good luck to all and thanks again to Ross and the Traffic Force team for putting this on for us it's so close at the top really a fantastic group of managers this year... nail bitting finish for all :thumbsup |
Have fun all!

6 games to go and all to play for but you're 52 points ahead of me, it'll take something special to beat you now! Quote:
We're back to a 4 horse race! |
Thanks Paul, but you are by no means out of this race! It is tight at the top.
|
Game week 33 Complete:
Nice to see the Pulis effect bring the Palace late transfers down to earth :upsidedow Leicester could be able to stay up this year with another victory but not sure if it's too little too late. Good luck for the next GW :thumbsup |
This weekend is pretty interesting w/ the DGW's.
|
Game week 34 Complete!
Who would have thought Hull would finish up with 2 clean sheets and Dawson banging in a goal as well :upsidedow I covered Loserpool just incase but I was not expecting them to fail so badly on the DGW! CFC have the title in the bag and will be crowned champions at home to Crystal Palace at the weekend. 4 weeks to go :thumbsup |
My fantasy season is toast but at least I should be celebrating the title Sunday at Stamford Bridge :)

104 points for me this week. Now if only I could do that every week.
|
Nice weekend Ashley and Manfap! Man, it is tight at the top!
|
Man, this is heating up! I see you Ashley!
|
awful week for me... forgot to do anything at all with my team so still had some liverpool players from the double gw, and accordingly a poor captain choice as well >< Though all I'm playing for is a target to beat next season. Again, gl to those up at the top :thumbsup
|
Game Week 35 Complete:
So CFC are champions and Loserpool will have to give them a guard of honour next GW :winkwink: United suffered there first and third straight loss under LVG which was only a gain for Myhill owners like myself. Good luck to all for the next GW :thumbsup |

The final 3 weekends are upon us! What changes do people make? To keep Hazard or not. Who do you load up on from Arsenal? What players do you keep from teams fighting to not get relegated?
Decisions, decisions, decisions... Oh and thanks Traffic Force for sponsoring the league!!! |
Game Week 36 Complete:
Aggy went totally crazy this GW 3 goals and 2 assists totalling a 46 point haul. Burnley and QPR are now relegated with what looks like Hull, Newcastle or Sunderland most likely to join them. Arsenal's long unbeaten run came to an end against Swansea making it harder to know who to pick for the DGW. The top four looks set with CFC, Arse, City and ManU getting a CL spot next year. 36 game weeks down 2 to go! |

Good luck Ashley & Paul, it's a two horse race now! :thumbsup |
If I didn't get rid of Sterling and bring in Silva I would have got a measly 30 points this week. Silva being my captain saved the day.
Good luck to the two fighters, you both have played an excellent season. I am all about consolidating 8th place now since it's going to be impossible to move any further up the table. It was very tight this year, no one really ran away with points since before Christmas time. Well done everyone. |
Fucking Agüero!
Well done boys! |
Had aguero in as captain this week which was handy. 1st season playing so I'm way down in 14th, had a little check and see that spread over the 36 games so far, I dropped an average of 6 points per week against the leader, so when I look at it like that, I'm pretty pleased overall :) Looking forward to next season already now I have a slightly better understanding of it. Gl to the 2 up top :thumbsup

Game Week 37 Complete:
Looks like Poppy has this season in the bag :thumbsup I will need an FPL miracle to shrink the gap actually 36 points is more of a canyon than a gap :winkwink: We saw the fastest hat trick in history this week from Mane 3 goals in under 3 mins!!! Another disappointing DGW as Arsenal just couldn't find a way through the teams having 11 players in the box :upsidedow Only teams that have something to play for is the last relegation spot between Newcastle and Hull. Hull face United which is going to be tough and they need a win to survive. The Europa League spot (5th) is still not clear with Spurs/Pool/Southampton so close but if Arsenal win the FA Cup 6th place could get a spot as well. All the games this week are on Sunday and will all kick off at the same time. It's always a sad day when the EPL finishes back to boring Saturday with no football to watch :disgust |
Thanks for everyones participation in this season, this has been our biggest player season to date and it has been a lot of fun. Traffic Force will be sponsoring this again next season and yet again it will be free to enter, we will cover everyones entrance fee. So if you have enjoyed checking in on this but maybe didn't enter, this is your chance to be in the running next year.
Talk to myself or Paul and we will get you in. Ash, unlucky for you mate, I think that little run a couple months ago hurt you but yet again another great season you played. Paul has been hiding for 75% of the season then out of the blue goes on full on attack mode. Still time yet but unless half his team is injured, it looks like he has taken the title this year. I think the quality of the BPL next season is going to be even higher again which gives us all another great season ahead. |

I agree Poppy has this in the bag now, well played Sir! Congratulations Ashley on a strong finish to the season, the best I can hope for now is 3rd. Thanks again to Ross and Traffic Force for sponsoring the league, it's been good fun and very competitive this year. :thumbsup |

Was a real close run thing last 6-10 weeks was anyones to win going to be a dull summer but a bit less stress on deadline day :thumbsup |

This has been a very competitive season and it isn't over yet! I don't hear the fat lady singing yet. Not w/ you on my back Ash! Ross and Traffic Force, thank you so much for sponsoring this annual tradition.
|
As the winner of the Fantasy Premier League last year I'd like to be the first to congratulate the new Traffic Force Fantasy Football League champion Poppy!
You made some outstanding transfers, consistently picked the right captain and you are a worthy winner! Well done Paul :thumbsup |
Sad to see this come to an end, well done Poppy :thumbsup
Roll on next season! Big thanks to Ross & TrafficForce for sponsoring, very much doubt I'll enter a paid league for another couple of seasons, so an opportunity to play and get some enjoyment I'd have otherwise missed :thumbsup |
Game week 38 was a great one loads of goals but no real twists as it was very likely Hull were going to go down and all the top spots were already decided. United are back in the CL next year but will face a tough qualifying round. Result of the weekend was Looserpool getting pumped by 6 goals at Stoke which summed up their season :1orglaugh Congratulations Poppy FPL king for the 2014/15 season :thumbsup 3rd and 4th separated by a single point. 2nd to 7th within 103 points of each other. A very close run thing at the top it was a really great season to be a part of. A massive thanks to Ross at http://www.trafficforce.com for putting up the prize but i think all involved in the league throughout see now the money means so little compared to the bragging rights of finishing above a rival :winkwink: Congratulations again Poppy see you at the EU shows later this year for hopefully some real football :upsidedow |
Congrats Poppy. Drinks on you my friend :)
Prize money is being sent to Poppy and winners can claim it from him. |
Ross, definitely drinks on me bud. I can't thank Traffic Force enough for sponsoring this past season. Ross and I will put our heads together and see how we can make it even more exciting and attract more players from our industry.
So stoked to earn the crown this year, as both Ashley and Coatsy are hard to beat! Mix that in w/ some solid new players and it was even more tough. I'm already going through withdrawal...lol. |
Thanks for running everything (Poppy) and sponsoring it (Traffic Force).
Was fun to play. |
Congrats to winners :thumbsup
