It is very sad indeed.

Or stand off to the side. We had a guy locally here, his car broke down in a busy intersection early morning just as its getting daylight. Standing beside the car a school bus came along and rear ended him. Killed him instantly. Rear half of car flat as a pancake.

Well, the news today is that the investigators have recommended this case go to a grand jury to determine if there will be charges. They could have dismissed it saying it was just a terrible accident, but they didn't. Wow, what could be compelling enough to go forward?
