revshare, unless in weird geos and it's PPL and sometimes PPS
|
For cams, I see a lot of people leaning towards RevShare because of the whale factor. There isn't really a limit to spending with cams in a short amount of time, unlike membership sites etc. Guys drop their wallets for that girlfriend experience y'know?
All in all, it depends on how quickly you want your cash. PPS for higher initial payouts. RevShare for that long lasting relationship that grows over time (or if you happen to immediately catch a whale, immediately large payouts lol). |
Revshare, coz I love rebills!
|
some programs just cant revshare a shit ... :2 cents:
|
Revshare even if i buy traffic.
Most mediabuyers with a good cashflow are pushing their own revshare accounts and doing good with that. And no traffic is shit.It depends on product and what user expect to see after clicking your ad. edit: pay per sale... Just good for the program, because of the branding and reactivation of users (pushing rebills and dead accounts) |
revshare for sure
|
I recall making well over $1,000 each on several signups I sent Bangbus back in the day. Several of those rebilled for 3 to 4 years or more.
The only way I know how to earn over a grand on one referred signup is by revshare. If the site you're promoting is worth it, they will rebill. |
I used to go 100% rev share but i changed it depending the the website. Rebills are key, but some sites do not convert well, you get a few pennies on a sign up and then nada. I started setting up different campains using different ratio's. For some I use about 90% rev 10% PPS but others I go much lower around 70/30 in favor or PPS.
|
I guess it depends. For new site, I usually start with PPS, then move on to revshare.
|
usually revshare
|
For me, it generally comes down to EPC, though there are exceptions. Data is extremely important in determining your strategy. For example, I can tell you what each program has generated for me at any period over the last 10 years, right down to the $/click. And I will adjust accordingly.
Having the data allows you to do several types of testing, revshare, PPS, no exits, 1 exit, custom landers, default landers, trials, no trials, etc. Similar with traffic sources. Campaigns and testing are your friends. In the end, and at the risk of causing another "$/click" thread, it is exactly that. You adjust your campaigns, traffic sources, landing pages, type of link, etc based on maximizing your $/click. Thus, we use PPS and Revshare, then monitor and adjust as needed to create the desired effect. ETA, the best result is a mutually beneficial one between affiliate and the site. And that can be either one. |
Cams & Dating = Revshare
Paysites = Combination of Revshare & PPS Banking on the revshare model for paysites is heavily dependent on rebills. If there is any likelihood of going concern issues (late or missing payments are huge red flags), it's PPS for me. I prefer revshare with large and established paysite networks, as there is less risk of the sponsor closing it's doors. I prefer PPS with small sponsors, unless they have amazing content with frequent updates. These are some factors that I will consider when choosing revshare or PPS. They help me determine the financial stability of a sponsor and how well a member will retain over time. - Track record of sponsor payments - Track record & reputation of owner(s) - Size of sponsor - Competition within & saturation of niche - Saturation of sponsor content on tubes - HD / non-HD content - Exclusive / non-exclusive content - Star power / quality of talent pool - Overall production quality - # of bonus sites / scenes - Variety & amount of promo tools - Conversion ratios |
