Zombaio has always been a joke.

If new owners have a proper bankroll and business ethics, this is ultimately better than the alternative of having one less viable IPSP choice.

I agree with you Brad, if they really sold the company (that's a big if) and this isn't just a ploy for a fresh start and no accountability for their past actions and money owed.

Brad

They aren't an IPSP. They are another merchant handling payments on behalf of other merchants.

If they were an IPSP or PSP, the sub-merchants could probably run to visa or mc and spit up a shit storm that they accredited this company but you won't find this company anywhere, for good reasons.

The best thing for this business would be for them to go out of a business so the memory sticks for people on the importance of using a proper billing company, and not to be easily duped by low rates or creative structures.

The longer they continue the longer they are stringing people along.

My opinion: the new ownership move sounds like a ploy to steal everyone's money and push the liability on to whatever new unknown entity owns it.

The time for doing right has left long ago. There's a higher probability of more wrong than more right happening down the line especially if you look at the past behavior. No way you can be an optimist in this situation it deserves the highest skepticism.

PAR 10-20-2014 02:39 PM

I with Biggy on this being a ploy,
Settlements should never be an issue or delayed without cause.
There is no excuse for it, it's not like the bank is sitting on the cash fwd settlements weeks/months late. That's just not how it works.
Banks settle like clockwork...

The delay of payments can be no place other than at Zombaio's direct level/involvement.

There should be no shortage of funds unless there is a misdirection/misuse of said funds. It's not like the bank didn't send the funds you all were owed to Zombaio....

Where did the funds go to cause what can only be viewed at this point as a Ponzi Scheme.

Anyone have a date when payouts became a month late? That date is when everyone should have pulled the plug.

fsflip 10-20-2014 11:50 PM

I really hope it is getting sold and the new owners will pay on time.... Zombaio is the only merchant I can use since I live in Australia. Verotel want me to give them ID that has been notarized. I cannot do this unless I drive 4 hrs to the place that will do it for me.... Guess I'm one of the very few who want zombaio to survive.

Drive for 4 whole hours to get paid on time? Who on earth could be assed to endure such hardship to do that?

Worst reason to continue using Zombaio ever

I am guessing that you have developed quite a nose for shit considering that your head seems to be so far up your own ass that you can't differentiate between a shrill and an actual Zombaio webmaster.

The guy's previous post was saying he was stuck with Zombaio because it was too much trouble to drive 4 hours to notarize his passport for Verotel. Not exactly the kind of opening post a Zombaio shrill would make is it?

Try reading posts before making smart ass comments, or better still, stay in threads where you have a fucking clue about the subject matter..... if any such threads exist.

Aren't you the guy cheer leading zombaio in the beginning of this thread?

Here's a tip... try listening to reason rather then when your head is stuck up your ass. I read every thing, on every forum, that has to do with my best interests.

Eschaton 10-26-2014 10:09 AM

6 payments behind. 1 payment in the last 2 months. We went with the "every 2 week" settlement to pay the same rate.

What's ironic about that is we have a 2 week settlement and haven't even been paid out the "monthly" settlement with a lower fee.

Then there's the BS about who will be paid faster on the new platform with no indication whatsoever of how long it will actually take.

Where?

The only reviews i've seen are 4/5 and a 3/5 the handful of complaints seem to be about not being credited for returned swipe machines, unexpected fess and people having trouble canceling their account and stuff you see with every card procesor. I only skimmed the first couple resuls on google and haven't really looked too much into it, they've had 15 BBB complaints, all resolved. I didn't see anything that really raised any red flags in terms of payouts.

Being US based myself, I also like the idea that paynet is based out of Atlanta. But that probably doesn't really matter all that much.

But either way, at least its a sign that maybe the sale wasn't complete BS... Zombaio getting its shit together would be good for everyone.

I feel bad for every hard working Webmaster still using Scott Zombaio for their processing needs.

Seriously.

How can one be sure that Zombaio was really bought by Paynet Systems Inc?

What if Zombaio is just impersonating a random company name?

So frustrated webmasters will be chasing the wrong persons when Zombaio decides to completely stop paying?

Have Paynet Systems confirmed that they are the new owners?

And here is the review of charge.com (also owned by Pipeline Data Incorporated) from merchantmaverick.com:

"’m not saying that Charge.com is all bad, but the countless public complaints of undisclosed contract terms & fees, withholding of funds, horrible BBB rating and bad customer service are hard to ignore. Not to mention that their parent company Pipeline Data Processing Inc. has two separate Better Business Bureau (see below) listings with sub C ratings. That is not good fellas."

H-Tom 10-28-2014 03:19 AM

And here is something about Pipeline Data Files:

"Pipeline Data Files for Bankruptcy Protection in Delaware

Pipeline Data Inc. (PPDA), a provider of payment-processing services for merchants, filed for bankruptcy protection in Delaware and plans to sell its assets.

The company listed assets of less than $10 million and debt of more than $50 million in Chapter 11 documents filed today in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware. Ten affiliates also sought court protection.

Pipeline Data, through its subsidiaries, provides payment- processing services to small and midsize retailers that operate in physical ?brick-and-mortar? stores or over the Internet, according to its website. The Alpharetta, Georgia-based company provides services to about 15,000 merchants, according to court documents.

The company was hurt by merchant closures and a lack of new clients to make up the difference and was unable to ?acquire merchant portfolios and sales channels on terms that would improve its financial condition,? according to court filings..."

H-Tom 10-28-2014 03:23 AM

Pipeline Data Overall Rating: D

"Pipeline Data does not have its own sales channel and does not appear to market merchant accounts directly. Instead, it relies on several wholly owned subsidiaries and outside partners to market and sell its merchant accounts and credit card processing services. These partners and subsidiaries include SecurePay.com, Charge.com, Northern Merchant Services, World Products, Inc. (aka: AIRCHARGE) and possibly many more. Pipeline also employs a sales force of independent, commission-only sales agents. It appears that various other Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) resell Pipeline Data merchant accounts as well.

Pipeline does not appear to use any deceptive marketing or sales tactics itself; however, this reviewer has found during other provider reviews that some of its subsidiaries do use misleading tactics. Since it is our belief that the parent company is ultimately responsible for its subsidiaries, Pipeline is currently earning a poor rating in this section."

Pipeline Data Service & Complaints | D

"This processor has a high number of complaints filed in various complaint forums. A few angry merchants have even dedicated entire websites to bashing the company. The majority of the online complaints are centered on undisclosed PCI compliance fees, which range from $75-$195 per year, and the withholding of funds to establish ?rolling reserves? without any notification to the merchant.

What is particularly unsettling to this reviewer are the numerous complaints of Pipeline withholding thousands of dollars from merchants for up to 180 days without giving the merchant any explanation. Some merchants even complained of the reserves being withdrawn from linked checking accounts, causing overdraws. Numerous other merchants complained of undisclosed fees being directly withdrawn from their checking accounts unexpectedly. Some merchants reported closing the linked checking accounts to avoid further withdrawals and subsequently received harassing phone calls from Pipeline representatives trying to collect. The resounding theme among nearly all complaints is that Pipeline provided ?poor? or ?awful? customer service."

Dude. Just do it.

A few years ago I was considering flying from Melbourne to New York to open a local USA account. Even though the trip would have cost a few thousand bucks, and would have required I sit on an aircraft for a couple of days, the costs would have been fully tax deductable, and in the long run I would have saved a fair bit on wire fees. But I didn't do it. I'm kicking myself now.

A 4 hour trip to save you money, and more importantly, spread your risk, is nothing! Just do it!

Honestly, if the dude can't drive 4 hours to secure his business, he couldn't save his drowning wife in a pool if a lifesaver was 3 feet from his feet. Much like everyone else... uggh. It is sad to watch grown men and women act with such stupidity, day in, day out.

7 Payments behind

Is it me or are things getting even worse?

Now 7 payments behind!

During a conversation with Michael, I was told all sales after Nov 1 will be paid on time and you're still basically playing the waiting game for what they owe you.

So, don't expect to get anything that was charged prior to the new owners in a timely manner.

Anyone interested in collectively going after these fuck heads by legal means?

Made an acc just to post here. They have been late by several payouts constantly, but have been good about getting current until the last one, which is like three or four months late. They have kept saying "soon" until they finally said yesterday that they had sent. So in the next few days I'll know if they are totally full of crap. They have about 20k in total.
