With 100mil uniques per day that would be up to 1-5 million per year in revenue. There's also a lot of expenses on hosting and good CDN, and on stuff that has to make that work perfect, so I would say you can cut that to 50%.

Btw, I'm not sure there are too many networks with 100 million uniques a day... :2 cents:

I actually did a little mainstream advertising myself on porn sites as well. Didn't really wan't one of my brands on porn sites so only bought popunders and did make some sales.

factor in that tube profits are being diluted by the minute, because there's always desperate beggars who will steal more than the "legit tubes" who purchased content for pennies from companies they bankrupted with piracy...

what happened to the pay sites will happen to tubes...

I disagree, as far as never paying, people were stealing music for years, and now people prefer better quality without wasting time to find a free download, Amazon mp3 and Itunes, I also expect people to pay for internet radio in the future...

Guess what? None of the tube sites with traffic have any problems selling it. Why? Because it converts. End of story. If anything, traffic is getting more and more expensive, which is putting more and more revenue in their pockets. Thinking its all just going to evaporate one day is really naive.

Between $0.50 - $4.00 / k uniques. My best guess would be about $2.00 / k uniques.

So if a tube network does 100 million uniques a day that would be $200,000 a day or $73 million a year.

At $0.50 / k uniques:

$50,000 a day or $18.25 million a year

At $1.00 / k uniques:

$100,000 a day or $36.50 million a year.

So use whichever one you think that traffic is worth.

100 million? No way. Not even Google has 100 million uniques a day.

First ads are not sold based on unique, ads are sold based on per ad load...
Second there is more than 1 ad shown per page....
Third google does 3.5 billion searches per day ... each search = 1 page view (minimum as some people go past page 1)
Google Search Statistics - Internet Live Stats

https://marketplace.trafficjunky.net/signup/advertiser
shows 490,000,000 page view per day..
each page may have 5 ads on it...

You can do the math from that point.....
It = a boat load of cash each and every day... and twice on sunday...
