Indeed. That is why I am surprised at some people who claim not to use it.... It is not possible yet, many connections are on ICQ only...

I am alarmed that this many people in sales are refusing to use ICQ.

I make deals on ICQ, Skype, phone, text, in person, Facebook, email, Gchat, GFY PM and through third parties. Hell I would do smoke signals if the other party wanted.

Yes, I still run it just hardly ever speak to anyone on it anymore. So sure hit me up on ICQ, I just prefer Skype. It makes up for better cyber sexing too with the cam function and all :winkwink:

totally agree. I'm on icq, skype, aim, yahoo, jabber, FB chat, Google chat, twitter, I search the skies for smoke signals and pick up every bottle that washes ashore just in case there is a deal in there.

Dropped ICQ for Trillian many years ago. Dropped Trillian for Skype 3 or 4 years ago.

Unfortunately Trillian dropped Skype a few weeks ago.
ICQ is still working though.

I keep it on, but only have 2 people on it, that use it.

After getting on this forum I loaded ICQ after not using it for over ten years, but I haven't found it very useful.

That's odd; I can't remember the last time I got spam on ICQ. I use it more than Skype; only Skype if it is mandatory as there is nothing I like about it.

I use skype about 99% now and forget to turn icq on most mornings.

Still have it, still turn it on about once a week or so but rarely, rarely chat on it. And most icq chats get moved to skype.

I keep it running every day but most of my business communication happens via Skype and email. To be honest the only reason why I set up an ICQ account for work in the first place was because most people at GFY back in the day were more eager to share their ICQ details and more reluctant to share their Skype. So the easiest way to try and connect with a person directly was ICQ.

People tend get "chatty" on ICQ ... it is time consuming for a freelancer. I don't want to hear neither about your napping habits, nor about what your stupid girlfriend likes or dislikes (to give you some lamentable examples).

Yes to icq. Have been using it for 10+ years non-stop.Sometimes its the only way to reach the person in some of the parts of the world :)
