Hello Congressman Dickface, or Senator Douchewad, I'd like to ask you a few questions about who funded your campaign, and how you managed to make over $x million dollars since you arrived here in Washington DC, etc...

The "truth" will remain elusive, as long as our system is totally fucking corrupt.

The only fix is the guillotine. Once a few heads begin to roll our "elected leaders" may finally wake up from their greedy stupors.

Unfortunately voting will not fix this problem - it's too deep and it's gone too far.

Just a few heads should be enough. :2 cents:

I don't think a few heads rolling down the steps would fix anything. Look at China for example. They have a pretty good record of executing politicians whom are corrupt. Yet they are still corrupt as fuck, because everyone thinks they are the smart one whom will get away with it.

Here is a decent opinion piece on the subject..

but i have said several times already that i really pity you guys considering what you have as "news" sources - from outside this all looks like a fucking joke - and not even a funny one

I was thinking about reading this thread, but had to stop here. Just so you know, Palin's show and Sharpton's show are not news shows. Just like any newspaper anywhere [I have been anyway] has an op-ed (editorial) page, that is all shows with people like Sharpton, Palin, O'Reilly, Maddow or any other talking head are; they are just editorial page of MSNBC/Fox/CNN

Liberals make up less than 30% of the US population. Plus, they are very fragmented. Conservatives, however, make up around 50% and easier to target.

No wonder FNC dominates cable. Also, their trolling skills are far superior.

I wish there was a Libertarian channel (no, I'm not talking about Kennedy's show on Fox Business), I'd be a lifetime subscriber.

You can't run oil, gas, fast-food, and pharmaceutical ads all day long, and think you are appealing to Progressives. You can't present ALL of the facts, or have an UNEDITED debate, for fear that you will piss off the corrupt sponsors that keep you afloat.

5 corporations run all of the media. That's not journalism, it's just propaganda. Liberal Media my ass!

Great post. When I was a working journalist (1986-1999) I was mostly involved in entertainment and the music industry. But I dabbled in 'mainstream' journalism and did some investigative articles, mostly on piracy (video tapes back then, if you can imagine), real estate fraud, homelessness and a few other socio-economic issues. But know what I discovered? As biased and manipulated as I felt entertainment "journalism" was, "mainstream" journalism was ten times worse!

This is television I am talking about. Newspapers and magazines were on their last legs but still relatively strong (now, of course, they too are mostly shit). TV would take one of my stories and "re-focus" it. That was their term. They took a couple paragraphs and expanded it into the piece that would air on 20/20 and PrimeTimeLive. The whole point of my article changed radically and was not 'truthful' at all but rather just plain old exploitative. After 3-4 of these experiences I left for greener pastures.

Today? I would not believe ANY news channel if they told me it was 6 pm. I would still check my watch. Facts? Please. LOL
