you ever hear of a bear bulking up fat for the winter? she will burn off all of that fat b4 she hits cali. if you did this kind of thing you would know. without that fat your body would burn out fast.

haha i think bulking up and sleeping to burn off is a world of difference. when you do long distance things, you have nutrition along the way, that's how you maintain your energy

burning the fat asleep or awake same thing dood. rowing 14 hours a day she will burn it. she will be looking like chyna at the end. :2 cents::2 cents: she will need a high protein diet :2 cents:

Just did a Google on long distance sculling, didn't find anything at all about getting fat to make it. None of the trans Atlantic crossings were done by rowers who started the journey over weight.

haha same thing? not even close

i'll say she has a ton of experience and has more of an idea then i know about rowing, but "fattening" up with cheeseburgers to do it? i don't see that

TheMoneyMan 06-08-2015 10:30 AM

Thats impressive. I wonder what is all on that boat. She looks pretty thick for being so active.

I wonder how much weight she will lose

appreciated, no worries man.

ftr, i'd recognize her for accomplishing the crossing, i just happen to think at this point, anyone- male or female, looking as ill-prepared as she looks to me, will probably die trying.

check out the crowhurst doc, it's on youtube, you'll enjoy it, i find several similarities here.

not wishing ill will on her at all, but all alone out in the middle of the pacific in a rowboat with the closest humans being on the fucking space station in space is a very difficult place to be.

i wish her luck, she's going to need a lot of it just to survive, let alone accomplish her journey.

dude I was not slamming her because it is from the US I was slamming it because it is fat like it is from the US and I do not think that boat can carry enough food to sustain the teletubbie in its journey across the pacific :1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh

What's her current status BrassMo? Where she at now?

TrashyGirl 06-09-2015 05:15 PM

she's already going in circles. maybe it's a function of what happens to the boat when she sleeps. it wasn't explained.

pimpmaster9000 06-14-2015 03:16 AM

update:

the boat gave out a distress signal and was rescued after 250miles from the jap coast, the coast guard took pity on the boat because it was being ridden by a fat fat teletubbie and the coast guard threw snikers in the water and the teletubbie went after them, the boat is recovering fine now :1orglaugh

I love how all the people who sit all day long behind a computer that has never done a single thing like this can talk shit. She is awesome. I hope she does it and think she will. She has to be fatter then normal for this. There is a difference between being over weight, fat, gross fat and out of shape over weight, out of shape gross fat. BIG BIG difference. *shrugs*

As predicted she has already been rescued. She managed to go 155 miles in one week on a 6000 mile journey

The record for this trip was 189 days set by a male rower. She stated she had food for 180 days leaving her 9 days short provided she equalled the best effort to date. (nice planning)

After doing some basic math she probably figured that at the rate she was rowing she needed to be a pretty good fisherman or she would starve.

MrBottomTooth 06-14-2015 08:38 AM

Dumb cunt. She should have to pay the cost of rescue.edit:looks like Japan got stuck with the job

maybe she used some fancy fatso math and calculated in that lard ass of hers to get an extra month of travel time based on the extra cals.

"...battling headwinds and typhoons, Sonya made the decision to abandon this year's attempt..."

"On top of the data, Sonya and some team members felt that things weren't going right. While we couldn't put our finger on it, something felt wrong. Our expedition experience has taught us that when that feeling doesn't go away, you pay attention. As we prepared to leave normal Coast Guard range, that feeling only got stronger. As a team, we felt that combined with incoming weather, loosing (sic) a piece of critical equipment with a single backup, it would be irresponsible to continue. Perhaps more importantly, none of us could justify putting responder's lives at risk by pushing further."

Hmmm why would anyone row across the Pacific during typhoon season? So she abandons the journey just before she gets out of normal CG range? I think the only ride here, was the ride she gave her sponsors.

bushwacker 06-14-2015 11:39 AM

Who didn't see this coming? Back to the buffet table she goes. :thumbsup

pimpmaster9000 06-14-2015 11:46 AM

i had set my over/under at 150 nautical miles but quickly edited my post to 1500. i thought she was, at the very least, somewhat prepared- but it appears she truly was on a course to oblivion. she's very lucky she had the option to turn around.

true story bro.
