You can't get to the top of the directory game w/o pissing a lot of people off. I'm one of the people porndude has pissed off.

Also a lot of webmasters don't realize that if you make a great site and build a ton of backlinks for it and get lots of traffic, porndude will list you without you even asking. He has done that for my sites. Trying to get your fresh no-backlink no-traffic site listed on the #1 directory is amateur thinking.

Hey man I got you on Skype I've asked you a few times to add some of websites but you never have and I understand (whitelabels and such) but you always been approachable and never been an asshole to me and I appreciate it and I hope I can get to where you are someday.

You've listed my sites in your hall of fame (not on the main page)--and you rank in google for my brand-name keywords. nice work. And thanks for the links/reviews, they probably help my sites to continue ranking.

I don't like you because you say, "do xyz and I'll list your site". And then after doing xyz...you don't list the site. And that's fine, it's your right to do that. But behaving like that will make people not like you. Also, your anti-competitive practices (sites you work with can't link to other directory sites) suck and have set a precedent that other porn list sites are following. It's your right to do that if you want, but it sucks.

My porn list sites are not for purposes of ranking in google or making money directly. They are doing exactly what they need to for their intended purpose.

honestly you could replicate his success without being a dick at all

what would you need? a custom, well-coded script that looks good and runs fast. (WP could work if you make a custom theme like mrporngeek did.) A large budget to pay quality copy writers (notice that he has LONG high-quality reviews for like literally every popular porn site, and also a blog with tons of quality copy). A good-sized budget ($10k? $20k?) to buy links to boost your DA/DR/alexa/etc so that people will trade with you.

And then you just run a ridiculously proactive email campaign and get lots of quality sites to trade links with you. Once you start making money, reinvest it in more purchased links.

It's not rocket science.

Cause that asswipe realizes the thieves using pirated full length scenes get a lof of Google traffic searching for "free porn" and buying links from these piracy sites means he gets this traffic too. It's also cheap to buy from Russian criminals instead of legit tubes that accept take-downs. The amount of legit free sites that sell links is limited.

All his impressive "magical" success is nothing but buying links from thieves and playing dumb by pretending he doesn't know.

A lot of the big ad networks are selling ads on sites with stolen content too. Been going on for years and those guys are getting awards at every show every year. Nobody calls them out ever and you'll see all of them rubbing elbows with all of us. It's business as usual pretty much.

Porndude isn't actually stealing the content, he's trading links with them. So why doesnt GFY have 7 page threads about each and every ad network making millions of dollars from sites with stolen content? We should go after everyone linking to them not just one Porndude. I'm actually surprised the takedown services have let this slip through the cracks. The ad networks should to be included in the DMCA.

I'm still amazed how the big "pirate" sites still outrank everyone else. What the PornDude did is simply genius. He had enough money and knowledge to rank many keywords.. Ranking for a word such as "porn" is simply amazing.

I'm currently in Serbia atm and I just did a search on Chrome on Google.com for the keyword "porn"..

People have called them out, but it's easier to target lower hanging fruits (foreign owned big ad networks with large staff vs one man shop toplist). It's obvious which of these two has caused the industry more harm, but sadly we get seven pages of this and only minor grumbles about the former.
