What is not there and never has been are positions for people that clearly have no interest in actually working. Want to fix unemployment, simple, make it better for business owners to keep production, customer service, any part of their business in the US, move all the offshore jobs back home. massive tarrifs on goods made outside the US, add social security taxes for offshore labor. Sure people in the US would need to accept that they can't have a new IPhone every 6 months, but more people would go back to working. Corporations have a sole purpose of earning profit, it is why people invest in them, create them, etc. No one is born with the right to have money, have enough of anything, simple law of nature. Some win some lose, always has been, always will be |

I was asking why should "they" kill "us"? Why would they blame employed people for their failures? |

Hopefully the reason is that people realize how fucked up McD*****s food is..
|
mcD's is a landowner first and foremost, not a food outfit.

Sometimes I even go to drive and order something even if I know that they are serving breakfast. I feel good when I say that I don't want to order any of that breakfast shit and I drive away. |
I don't eat much fast food (very rarely) but it seems to me like McDonald's is old and boring - just no excitement there. Why go to McDonald's and have the same exact burger you've been eating there for the past thirty years? There is so much more competition these days when it comes to fast food. In the past your choices were McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, or a a handful of others.
Now it seems to me there is so much new competition. And McDonald's is just the same old shit it's been since the beginning of time. Their french fries are great however. |

So you get an idea about the profit margins, it's no surprise many prime locations in the city centers are rented by McDonald's franchise owners. Now the paradox is that this is pretty much an equivalent of price that you would pay in a real restaurant or bistro for real food (that's really cheap), yet that obviously doesn't prevent locals from spending money on overpriced junk food. |

When I worked in fast food they had everything broken down by price and profit. It was amazing really. The broke down the price of every ingredient, cost of the amount of time to prepare the item, and then factored in costs of power for the grill, bun toaster, etc. The most profitable item was soda. It cost them nothing to produce and serve, and was pretty much pure profit. |
I wonder if this is a marketing tactic. Their name in the news gets people talking about them and thinking about Big Macs.
Corporate seems to be doing okay. Financial Statements for McDonald's Corporation - Google Finance Looks like 1.2 billion in net income last quarter. |
Their prices are insane for the quality of burger. Its like Big Mac or Fresh Burger from the local Diner? People are going to real places to eat.
