The guy in the video is a whack job, would doubt every single shooting or event. But there are just so many oddities surrounding all of this... just past couple of days articles:

Jennifer Calderon, manager of the Circle K convenience store at the Valero gas station at Third Street and Waterman Avenue, said police told her the day after the attack that the shooters went inside the store about 11:40 a.m., 40 minutes after the attack. Police left with video that was filmed inside the market. The outside cameras were not working, Calderon said Sunday, Dec. 13.
"I looked through it and didn't see anything," Calderon said. She added that none of the employees remembered seeing the couple.
