Speaking about social / human connection...

Aprils clicks/signups are down because I changed the ref code on one of my smaller blogs to see how it was performing individually. I ve 2 little blogs with like 20 posts from 20 different performers I already got 2 dmca complaints and a lawyer email lol. If you will use girls photos chaturbate will just shut down your account. A common misconception by affiliates is to think that since they can publish the live feeds from the API, they can also use the content from these feeds. While affiliates are free to publish these live feeds, they cannot save, store, share, or publish screen captures or video of these feeds unless they have permission from the individual broadcasters. Broadcasters employ their own DMCA protection to police their content, whether it be from their feeds or social accounts.

In the event you receive a DMCA when using feeds from API, please forward it to [email protected] and let them know the content is from the API. They will go in and opt the broadcaster out of affiliate network websites.

You know when I gather feeds I ususally store images on my websites because I do not want to give links out to an unuseful images server ( that can bring down pictures anytime) . In the end you should have a list of girls who does not care of being PROMOTED ( AKA MAKE MONEY) by webmasters so that we could send those girls more traffic and not waste our time with those issues . My 2cents.

What about the image and the text content of the feed? Are we not allowed to store that at all? If not there are tons of Twitter accounts, Tumblr sites and Wordpress sites that are violating this policy.

They also get an edge because they get models deeplinked on their sites. If we are not allowed to keep any of the content in the xml feed then zero models should be deepllinked unless they are on the chaturbate.com domain or if sites have permission to post the model (which im willing to wager the majority of affilates don't have permissions from the thousands of mdoels posted on their site).

I really wish you would make this abundantly clear in the api section of the affiliate area. The statement above is pretty nebulous. Can we or can we not store the image and the text content provided in the feed on our websites? We know you can't scrape screen shots and record the video (most people who do this don't even use the feeds) but can we store the text and image in the feed?

On my whitelabel I have the play button on the video and it starts playing, on my embeded chat room I don't have a play button nor it is autoplaying..

All traffic is not equal! I can send 100 people to a camsite and half will buy tokens because they follow me for a long time and want to support. They have become friends!

Just an idea but maybe you can try to niche? Like build a Twitter account with followers who have a fetish like foot, or large breast or even gamer girls, gothic... etc.

Good point about the traffic source. People who were enjoying free tubesite porn videos may not buy tokens at the same rate as people who sign up through a paysite members area.

Considering most of my cam traffic is coming from twitter and my network, I think 4/day is a good clip to start.

Ok so taking your numbers an example for end of year 2015:
$8259 commission/ 3427 total registrations = $2.41/ per registration per year.

$2.41 income/yr per registration. That was the number I was dying to know in all this.

So each email registration although we dont get paid out on it is worth $2.41 income per year.

In order to make $120,000 a year with chaturbate ($10k/month) I need
120,000 / 2.41 = 49,792 total registrations.

Let's half that and make $60,000/ year as the first goal -

so I need:
49,792 / 2 = 24,896 registrations.

25,000 total registrations in my account

Once I hit 25 registrations / day which i stated as my first goal... it will take me:

1000 days (2yrs 9 months) to get to $60,000/year.
2000 days (5.5 yrs) to get to $120,000 a year.

That's too slow...

PornHero, you might be able to lower your numbers depending on traffic. My all time total is $5.069 per registration and growing each day. Based on these numbers your could halve your 75 registrations per day to achieve your goal.

If more people shared their stats, you could obtain a more average figure. I would assume there are people making much more per registration than me, and people making less. The law of averages over many accounts would give you a better idea.

If I can ad my $0.02 here. I've been promoting Chaturbate on the side for a few years. I belive that cams is going to continue trending upwards for years to come. The affordability of HD webcams, laptops and high speed internet is making it easier for girls to get online faster than ever before.

Unlike regular porn, there is (IMO) a desire for certain viewers to want to have a connection with the girls they are beating off to. This is where a great camgirl can succeed. Iv'e seen guys drop 1000 tokens on a girl in one shot several times. Crazy.

It didn't have a name but I have yet to have any problems. On my site which was recently redesigned and I have minimal content. I have a removal request form that I remove photos from models within hours of being contacted. My attorney says this is a great way to show compliance.

I have said it many times on this forum and I have talked about it with the Chaturbate's staff some time ago. Let's hope they implement it in the future.

Those systems, while a good idea, don't really work. Flirt4Free has on. The problem isn't affiliates and their API site's it's Google/Bing, etc. who have no respect for such filters as they only abide by what's in robots.txt. So what happens is you get a performer who blocks in their state thinking their family won't see their pictures and their comfort in this is completely false.

IMO if you're broadcasting your naked ass on the internet stop trying to limit your exposure and just focus on the traffic and money.

I think Chaturbate should be clear to models and to webmasters what is and isn't allowed and to let Chaturbate deal with everything, don't let the models go rogue.
(You guys realize that there are lots of ways for the girls to make money with your system besides tokens that no one besides them gets a cut for, right? Fix that, too.. :2 cents:)

Another issue for Camgirls to consider is privacy. To realistically think that a camgirl can come online, get naked, masturbate, fuck etc. and rely on geo filtering and DMCA to remain anonymous is wrong.

I get it, it's illegal to steal images and videos without consent. But a lot of people who do the stealing (not me) don't give two shits about a camgirl's privacy.

So If a camgirl thinks they can do cams and remain anonymous and their friends and family wont find a screencap of them online somewhere. They should reconsider another hobby.
