There would be videos for people like me who don't know how reset brake fluid check indicator on BMW or how to spin sink disposer when it gets stuck. Those videos would have 200K views. Holly shit.

i only wish this was true.

i started my channel last year and my average was about $1 for 1000 views.
since the 1st of January the average dropped instantly to $0.25 for 1000 views.
While my subscribers grew and my views get higher and higher.

End of last year i had 10k views daily which made me $10 daily.
Now I have 40k views daily which makes me... $10 daily.

As usual google fucks me. Not motivating.

Where do you see that? I had my account monetized a while back and one of my clips made into news. station asked me for permissions to show it on their website. I have 550K views as of right now. I thought it was going in to ads account.

One thing I thought of that I don't know how to do, but I bet someone here would, is to come up with a way to search for popular videos uploaded by people with very low subscriber counts

I use my YT channel for the traffic, not the occasional $100 cheques.
Around the end of last year, my YT revenue dropped significantly, despite growing subscribers and views. Now, I post teaser clips with a description, and a link to where they can download the complete movie. I also link to the YT clip from my site's FB page.
The FB traffic adds a few dollars to the YT account, and both the YT & FB traffic buy the full-length video from my site.
