Our government taught him out to kill with an assault rifle, and then once he got out he was able to buy the same exact rifle he used as a United States Marine. It's stunning that we take the weapon used by United States Marines and allow anyone to own one.

As a Canadian this is terrifying to see - no matter what side you tend to fall on. What goes on in the States has a truckle down effect (or in this case up) on us here in the North. RIP to all the victims of senseless violence that's griping the US right now.

This could be the genesis of a new domestic terror cell. These Dallas and Baton Rouge shooters may be lone actors, but they have something in common...military training and anger toward white cops (or cops in general).

All it takes is for some like minded people to be inspired and form a cell.

You forgot to mention he was a Nation of Islam follower. That likely had more to do with it than his being a marine especially since Louis Farrakhan has been inciting violence against police for decades.
