All you can do is change the product to convert more to customers. That won't be done by shooting the same porn as we shot 20 years ago. |

Perhaps you should look first and comment afterward. |

Unless the site is liked by surfers it will get nowhere. In today's porn business 99.99% (?) demand it free. I see this https://node.xxx/search?query=amateur+porn https://node.xxx/search/?query=porn+videos&p=1 https://node.xxx/search/?query=porn&p=1 Why will surfers abandon Google for Node.xxx? |
Quote:
I don't need them to. All I need to gain is a tiny fraction of the porn search market that appreciates that when they click on a link in the SERPS of Node.XXX that they won't end up on spam or popup hell. A minuscule fraction of the porn search market is still a lot of traffic and the intention going forward is to market Node.XXX as a search engine that isn't full of spam, only contains quality sites and wont lead them to sites that will lock up their computer with popups. |
will there be a feature that tells webmaster if their sites have been processed and denied, why it was denied?
related to that, what's the average time for sites to be crawled and indexed or not? few days? few weeks? |

I only need <0.1% of the porn search market to make it worthwhile. So many searches for porn are made on the major search engines every day that just a fraction of that market is huge. |

Your problem is the reason, you claim, will make surfers come across, isn't that bad on the top sites that get most porn traffic from Google. Assuming it is, what's your marketing strategy yo get surfers to find out about your site and use it? |

Full first month stats are quite pleasing, it's not a lot but it's a good start.
For the first full month of August we handled 1,139,027 searches on Node.XXX If your site hasn't been indexed yet, submit it by creating an account at Node.XXX and then using the dashboard to submit a site. |
node.xxx down?

Node.XXX has been updated with new features.
From 1st August 2019 all sites that do not use SSL/TLS encryption are labelled as insecure, helping to better inform surfers. Sites containing malware are excluded from the index within 30 minutes of being crawled, malware advertising excludes an entire website for six months before it is rechecked. Again making things safer for surfers. Ranking algorithms have been improved and smaller sites which have high quality content and do not abuse user experience receive a small ranking boost to encourage higher quality sites. A 60% performance boost in search speed means search results are returned in less than .5 of a second more than 80% of the time. Social media search results are now returned for porn friendly social media sites. If anyone has any questions feel free to reply in this thread. |

And its 3rd place as well after the top 2 which are both pornhub... :( |

If it's accessible via http and https it will show as insecure. |

Otherwise you will need to set up a htaccess rule if using Apache or a config file rule in Nginx |
No, I dont use cloudflare, but never mind... I'm a pornographer, not a webmaster, and so I dont think Im gonna go changing things now...
Its all good :) |

On the current re-crawl rate, if you redirect to only https then the insecure indicator would disappear within 24 hours. |
Well Ive done it with
Code:
RewriteEngine On |
my advice would be to stop wasting time with this project and go make a search engine site like tubegalore, you clearly have the skills and you can actually get google traffic and make money in that niche

I just tried it I like it :), how can I submit my site?
|
sounds good, but site gets zero traffic (Alexa 9M), so where is the problem? no one gives a shit. good luck anyway.
|
why not offer better position to webmasters that link back?

Some exit traffic might be perfect for this. I remember when Google started coming on... damn near anyone who had a warning page before the site had their exists linked to yahoo, Disney, etc. Seemingly overnight, people switched to linking to Google.
There's still a ton of sites out there with warning/enter pages. Might be worth looking at. I took a look at node.xxx and its apparent the work that's gone into this. Congrats. Found some of our sites as well. |

A very very small, minuscule percentage of the porn search market is profitable. |
Nice engine!

Looks good!

As Adult King said, search market is huge and a tiny % is a lot of $. Not easy to do ofc.
There are already a few more than successful tube search websites and was just talking to a the big tube is about to launch a new one. It’s a good concept. |
nice, good luck

OK, well its 48 hours now, and not only am I still marked as 'insecure' I've also lost a position to thumbzilla... It was great really, to find that my little site, with original content I've shot myself, was actually ranking in amongst an entire page of big name tubes. and what's more, in 3rd position!!! Sure I didn't expect to be higher than pornhub, but directly below them? Sweet :) Yet despite doing what you suggested, and forcing my site to use https, and spending subsequent time to check and recheck and ensure that the entire site was secure, not just the front page... That I've not only gone down a ranking, but that I'm still getting flagged up as (What amounts to me being) 'A Bad Choice' for the surfer to make... Anyway, like I said, this isn't me just having a whinge... Just letting you know that something isn't working the way that you think it is at your end... |

As for the ranking, I'll explain how ranking works. There is a base ranking formula that measures a number of different parameters, lots of them actually. Some parameters affect ranking in a big way, some in a small way. It's the result of the formula that determines how a site is ranked. Ranking is also different to different markets, for example ranking in Australia will be different to ranking in the UK. That said, if you want to PM me with your site I can tell you very quickly if there are still insecure assets causing the "Insecure" warning and also why you might have moved in ranking. |
Looks good, its pretty fast!
