I want to know if this Puerto Rican, now a resident of Alaska, was a Trump nut, a Clinton nut, or just a generic nut listening to the voices in his head...

All signs lead to Hillary and Obama supporter and lone "member" of their USIS.

I think it's fucked up he was turned in to the FBI a couple months ago, put in the loony bin on a 51/50 involuntary psychiatric hold, released while he was still hearing voices telling him to watch isis videos & kill people, all of this and he wasn't put on the no fly list WTF SMH

..also he was able to legally carry a gun even "after" going to the FBI and being sent to a nut house. Why can't we have "responsible" gun laws? Because Republicans...

This is true. I'm all for common sense gun laws. :thumbsup

Not being able to legally carry a gun is a deterrent, but it won't stop anyone determined, just like a restraining order doesn't stop someone who wants to kill you.

It would of stopped him because he wouldn't of been able to check the gun in with the airport.

This is true.

The strange thing is he was in trouble legally in Alaska for choking his girlfriend after he broke down her door, they released him, then took him into custody again because he went back to his girlfriend who he was forbidden to see on condition of release. She was a 40 year old cougar with a kid, lucky her :Oh crap

There were so many chances for the system to stop this guy and it failed all the way through.

Nope.. He had a military ID as well. Are we going to allow $10 airport screeners to have a look at medical histories?

No law will ever prevent something like this from happening.

Tasty1 01-07-2017 03:22 PM

If there was help for PTSD, it wouldn't have happened.
He asked for help and others did also, but nobody helped.

I know that all veterans in Holland get a pass.
If you show that pass, you get free help from a psych.

Wasn't in the budget.. lots of money in the budget for cool new airplanes and nuclear weapons it seems, but no money for heathcare..

It's just a shame these guys always go on rampages killing ordinary people just trying to make due with their lives and not the assholes in control.

A law would have stopped him from checking in his gun and flying it from Alaska to Florida. Maybe they could have gun pickup separate at a completely different part of the airport where there's not a lot of people, like the missing baggage complaint area.

He should have been in jail for breaking the conditions of release from jail for choking his girlfriend but nope. He should have stayed in the loony bin until he was mentally healthy, but nope.

So he would have just done it Alaska?

One report said the shooter, who lived in Alaska, had no other luggage but the gun, which federal rules allow a person to declare at a ticket counter and check under the plane but not carry on.

Dude stop thinking I'm some far left PC liberal Bernie voter :1orglaugh:1orglaugh

I've already said if people are gonna do evil shit they'll do it, one way or another.

In this guys SPECIFIC case, a change in law would not have allowed him to transport the gun on his flight, whether it him being on a 51/50 no fly list or some law for mentally ill or violent people, who choked out their cougar girlfriend, not be able to transport their guns. :1orglaugh:thumbsup

I'm a Blue Dog Democrat we are fiscally conservative and don't like government in our lives, including a bunch of regulation.

That is the one thing you can't prevent.

If it wasn't a gun, he would've done something else with something else.

Can't stop evil from existing. Universe would explode if everyone was super happy.

BREAKING: #FortLauderdale Terrorist #EstebanSantiago Joined MySpace As ?Aashiq Hammad?, Recorded Islamic Music

Fort Lauderdale Airport terrorist Esteban Santiago registered on MySpace under the name ?Aashiq Hammad? and recorded Islamic religious music on the site, 3 years before he ever deployed to Iraq as a U.S. soldier, destroying the lying mainstream media?s narrative that he was just a mentally disturbed veteran and that ?Islam had nothing to do with it.?

The second e-mail, [email protected]?, is how GotNews exclusively visually identified Santiago before every mainstream media outlet and discovered he was posting on an explosives/weapons forum about mass-downloading Islamic terrorist propaganda videos in 2007 yesterday.
