Sometimes I eyeroll when they slip a mention of hotlinked product into an article, but generally the article will be well worth reading, despite the blatant advertising. So I would say their articles are about the info first, with a little shilling as an afterthought.

OR ask if you can try it on, then crap yourself. no one will touch you then so you can keep it.

Do the program "Insanity" for 60 days and then do "P90X" for 60 days, in only 5 months you will be one shredded machine..

Not if you eat crap...and too much of it.

The problem with these programs is that they program failure. You go full tilt for 90 days, maybe lose some fat if you accidentally (or purposely) follow a good diet...and then what? keep going at 100 mph for the rest of your life?

It's a setup for long term failure. Actually I know a few people who did Insanity and p90x. They either didn't make it for 2 weeks, or did make it through -- and are now fat again because it was just a temporary band aid to their fitness problem. Just the very nature of it creates a mentality which doesn't foster long term sustainability. Work you ass off for a couple of months and have the body you always wanted -- until you inevitably stop and have no idea what to do to maintain the new body.

you can get shredded with moderate exercise and a good diet. Might take a little longer but the results will stay with you.

Diet is more important then any workout

mce 02-04-2017 04:20 PM

Eat only ONCE a day

That's what I've been trying to say. You can lay on the floor and flail around like you're having a seizure for 15 minutes a day, and you will get shredded if you eat mostly fish and broccoli. You won't sculpt an athlete's physique that way, but if it's all about getting lean the diet is far more important.

I'm 52.

5'9" and weigh 168 lbs. Not an ounce of fat - and yet I eat like a frickin' horse. No diets.

I'm the annoying one at family get-togethers - everyone looks and wonders how I do it. :1orglaugh

Naturally high metabolism. And I stay active constantly. Mountain biking and trail hiking in the summer months - rough terrain that requires good physical exertion. Turn off the TV, step away from that fat-inducing gaming console...and just go do something. A lot of people don't realize how sedentary they actually are.

And then they wonder why they're fat.
