I replaced all cocktails with sparkling water. No more coke. There is still alcohol calories but at least its not 100 extra in every drink from the soda. Tell you what though, DoorDash is killing me. Way too easy to just order food from anywhere...

He was 12st when 28 to 30 inch waist, now about 14 and half st. |
I lost 75 lbs from October 13th 2016 to Jan 1st and I'll be getting a lot of money for it too... but you wouldn't want to do it like I did. I was a picker to amazon. Got home, went to bed woke up with 106 deg temp and no use of my left leg.. had ambulance come get me.. cocksucker er doc didnt do shit said, said i had a muscle spasm and virus.. sent me home.. after 9 days of being same shape, called ambulance again. Same god damn doctor on duty. Done a catscan after I BEGGED for MRI. Said I had sciatica nerve damage. Done nothing to stop pain, sent me home with a muscle relaxer. Waited 3 more weeks had ambulance come get me again. New doc in ER done a MRI, came in and said I had a massive infection pocket in my back and they had no surgeon that could even try to operate and with a hour had me loaded on a chopper to send me to Chicago for emergency surgery. Chicago surgeon said if I'd a been 2 days more getting the surgery I would have died, my body was shutting down. They took out 51 ounces of infection, blood and gunk out of my back. All because a cocksucker ER doc wouldn't treat me. I lived off 2 protein drinks a day for 55 days. Less than 500 calories a day. Was a bad couple months, but my lawyer is eating it up. :D So, if you want fast weight loss go to my local hospital lol

snipped from T Nation---------------------------------------------------------- When you drink beer, wine, or spirits, the ethanol in those beverages is given priority by your body in metabolism. It stops pretty much everything else and goes to work in a four step process that looks like this: Ethanol → Acetaldehyde → Acetate → Acetyl-CoA Acetate and acetyl-CoA can be used for energy by the body but it's costly. One gram of alcohol is said to contain 7 calories, but like protein, its conversion into energy is inefficient and 17 to 20% of its energy is lost. In other words, like protein it has a very high thermogenic effect. Also like protein, and contrary to popular belief, alcohol is not easily converted to fat. That process is too costly. But all that acetate and acetyl-CoA showing up in the cells does signal to the body that no sugar or fat needs to be burned. So rather than a fat storer, alcohol is more of a fat burning suppressor. |

Do the program "Insanity" for 60 days and then do "P90X" for 60 days, in only 5 months you will be one shredded machine..

The problem with these programs is that they program failure. You go full tilt for 90 days, maybe lose some fat if you accidentally (or purposely) follow a good diet...and then what? keep going at 100 mph for the rest of your life? It's a setup for long term failure. Actually I know a few people who did Insanity and p90x. They either didn't make it for 2 weeks, or did make it through -- and are now fat again because it was just a temporary band aid to their fitness problem. Just the very nature of it creates a mentality which doesn't foster long term sustainability. Work you ass off for a couple of months and have the body you always wanted -- until you inevitably stop and have no idea what to do to maintain the new body. you can get shredded with moderate exercise and a good diet. Might take a little longer but the results will stay with you. |
Diet is more important then any workout

I'm 52.
5'9" and weigh 168 lbs. Not an ounce of fat - and yet I eat like a frickin' horse. No diets. I'm the annoying one at family get-togethers - everyone looks and wonders how I do it. :1orglaugh Naturally high metabolism. And I stay active constantly. Mountain biking and trail hiking in the summer months - rough terrain that requires good physical exertion. Turn off the TV, step away from that fat-inducing gaming console...and just go do something. A lot of people don't realize how sedentary they actually are. And then they wonder why they're fat. |
