Just a reminder for some of our more simple minded members here. Most things of importance that were invented were not invented by one man. Even things that are purportedly invented by one person were generally aided by a team of people not to mention a large backing from others to test it and make them better in order to do so regardless. Generally any team has contributions from all parts of the world over the grand scope.

I know that may be a bit too complex to understand for most here but in short, invention and discovery takes numbers and race is not even relevant to the discussion. You may not be ready to accept that, but the good news is your children and your children's children will. You can influence them for hate all you want but this almost always has an opposing effect and they will simply turn on you and dismiss your thoughts as being naive and dated entirely eventually.

What I'm saying is, all of the problems African Americans have are a product of their history in this country. It's not an excuse for them, just the way it is. Whatever they are today (good or bad) is what happens to a people when they're brought to a country as slaves. I'm surprised that many black people do go about their lives in a productive way, when you think about the fact that somewhere in their family's history there's murder and rape at the hands of slave masters.

Imagine if the scenario were flipped, and you walked among people of another color whose ancestors subjugated your ancestors and treated them like shit for many years after they were freed. You might overcome it but it will always be in the back of your mind somewhere as you interact with them. Or you could just hate them and let it ruin your life.
