Because Swoit spams webmasters, and will have so many webmasters promoting it that they can send ridiculous amounts of joins to your website. They predict 100,000 sales in the first 3 months. With 100 sites participating, (only saw 50 or so now) that means 1000 sales per website on average. Wait, thats not shit..... hmm.. I guess they are hoping for more sales than that?
On the other hand it is gonna be about $3-4k in extra revenue per month for those 3 months.

That spam made me want to bust a "Swoit" load on someones face for putting that bullshit in my mailbox.

THe thing that doesnt make sense about "The Swoit Model" is affiliates send traffic, and partners 'supply sites'...

But how is the money REALLY split up?

Is it % by # of sites the paysite operators submitted?

-- because that opens doors for lots of problems...like people mass/trash submitting. People submitting template splash page sites with lower quality carbon-copy members areas VS. someone with 1 kickass site thats worth 100 of those cloned sites. So the webmaster with 1 good site gets stiffed with a much smaller share than the guy that submitted the 100 far lower quality sites??

Is it a flat % or payout when someone joins a participating paysite? Whats to stop Swoit from saying an unusally large % of the surfers signed up for sites that are owned/operated by Swoit (directly or indirectly)


Or like someone said... Someone might have a really good, jam packed members area, but a weaker front end that doesnt pull initial sales. But once swoit surfers find this guy and his jam packed members area they suck him dry -- and he gets paid nothing??

It's sounds like a great idea... but I see problems.

And how can the paysite owners tell how many members you have? Are you going to allow access to your processor stats? I mean you could have 100,000 members but say that you only have 10,000 members and distribute 40% profits of that.

Personally, this program looks solid. I've mentioned this in a another topic, and I'll mention it again. Swoit's business model is absolutely outstanding. If they follow their plan accordingly, it will revolutionize the industry.

I just signed up, and I'd like to say the model and backend script looks fantastic so far. I'm guessing the implementation will be just as easy and smooth!

People will always be critical of each biz and that's fine what most people are pissed off about is that our email addresses got sold in mass on a scale that is rarely seen for us, and this thread starts a huge fucking giant spam and the swoit people had no intention of actually participating in the forum.

If I said I was in it since '98, you wouldn't even believe me. So will stick to the GFY signup dates. That makes us in it for at least 1 year... what would you consider long or short considering it's an industry that's only been around on the net for 6 years?

I'm trying to figure it out right now, but the email address that I got hit on I have only ever given to 3 sponsor programs. All my other email addresses that I use for work these days didn't get hit, so I figure they had to of bought it from a sponsor and from the sounds of how many people have received the email I'm betting it's a very big sponsor that has been around at least a few years.

Other than idiots quoting points in the original post I'm still waiting for how this is in any way 'new' and not a glorified AVS? Only thing I see that's any different or in any way 'new' is the spec for listed sites is much higher.

A lot of people get very excited these days about the strangest things.
