I think my problem is I was getting spammed to my MAINSTREAM addresses.. addresses that aren't posted ANYWHERE on any of my adult sites.. That and umm.. email addresses that shouldn't even be anywhere REMOTELY involved in the adult business were spammed. What if my kid was online and got a lovely SWOIT spam in his email box? I would have been SUPREMELY pissed. There wasn't really any rhyme or reason to the way they spammed.. the least they could have done is check their lists. I don't know who Swoit is, nor do I particularly care, however I DO NOT APPRECIATE the amount of unsolicited spam to email addresses that have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BUSINESS. Grr. THAT chaps my ass.

It would've been so much better if only you'd posted it yourself I think. People know you, so they might've reacted with less skepticism about it. It gave the impression that they were new, anonymous or at least trying to conceal who they were.

LadyMischief, I long for the days when we had rules that were actually monitored by hosting companies and have no doubt its around the corner again ... a major change in porn spam laws needs to happen. The fact that bulk email lists have become a HUGE business and are regularly resold to anyone is fucked all round ... i get a bunch of spam to addresses that i've used specifically for a bunch of big adult programs, those you wouldn't expect would sell their lists.

Very weird that an email that I only ever submitted to PJ, with 100% certainty, was emailed with this unsolicited spam. Perhaps we can figure out what happened? There has to be a connection somewhere, no matter how minute.

I don't care how many signups they get....divide that by the # of paysites in the program and you're left with bupkis, especially -- as someone pointed out above -- you have a kick-ass site and some other WM has a paysite that gives AVS's a bad name.

The idea sounds like a revolutionary one. It's creating a marketplace for wholesale adult signup buyers and sellers. Their idea looks well thought out, designed well, it was created by successful people in this industry with money to gaurantee it's success.
