CONGRESS is constitutionally supposed to create law. Federal agencies are supposed to ENFORCE those laws.
But a few decades ago, Congress figured out that they didn't have to worry about voters getting pissed at them when they pull shady shit with laws. So they basically allowed Federal Agencys to go into overdrive with REGULATIONS so that they could avoid doing their job.

And these agencies have stopped enforcing law (because there is none)...and started enforcing REGULATIONS.

We VOTE for Congress to represent us. Congress is the LEGISLATIVE branch of govt. It is their job to make LAWS. Agencys are under the EXECUTIVE branch. Their job is to ENFORCE the LAWS that CONGRESS creates.

You act like you want the govt. to do everything for you. Well, then you need to vote for Congressmen to make LAWS that do that.

When exactly did our economy "die"? I've been doing killer business going on nine years now. But our economy is doing great NOW? Oh wow man.

There is a reason for this. This is because Congress doesn't understand the very basics of what is being discussed. I remember watching CSPAN one time and the Congressman from Alaska (who was in charge of Technology Committee of Congress) called it "that email thingy". The very man in charge the Technology Committee in Congress doesn't know what email was. Can you imagine the EPA or the FCC coming down to Congress to try to explain why they need a regulation passed?

Replace Obamacare? Nope.
Halt Muslims from entering the US? Nope.

The economy is booming because the last president fixed it. Unemployment went from over 10% to 4% under Obama, not Trump. When Trump took office, unemployment was on a seventy-two month downward trend. Trump didn't do anything to fix the economy, the prior eight years did that.

This is where your narrow focus comes into mind. Fox News has been telling you the economy was horrible, and suddenly Trump came in and magic - without doing a damn thing it's fixed.

Everything this man does is horrible. Today we had the train derailment. Trump gave his speech today about infrastructure, and pointed to this accident as part of our "crumbling infrastructure". This wasn't part of our "crumbling infrastructure" but instead the train was on tracks that had been rebuilt at a cost of $181 million and this was the very first trip. The man actually has no idea what he is talking about - none at all.
