EVERY President has done good things and shitty things, even the Holies like Roosevelt and Lincoln. But when I read these threads I do not see a balanced commentary, I see "My guy is great, everyone else sucks."

It's really laughable. But I will say that the Boomer Presidents (Clinton, Bush, Obama and now Trump) certainly seem to be the ones who do things for their Party over Country more than previous Presidents.

Some cars are beyond repair and need to be replaced, this is one of those times.

No, this is not the time to replace the car. The car is broken but very obviously the car is still running, and at times running perfectly. More people than ever before in the history of our country are using this car.

Instead, what the Republicans are doing is saying "We need this car to get to and from work to make money so we can use the car to get our food, but we are going to get rid of the car and eventually buy a new car. It might take six months to a year, and during that time we will have to go without a car. The new car might be better, might not, might not work at all."

In other words, they want to take away the healthcare of millions of Americans without offering up something new. No, that is not acceptable. If you want to change healthcare, come up with a plan and put that plan into place BEFORE you move to replace what we currently have. This way there is no gap in coverage, and there is no last minute scramble with politicians passing bills where they aren't really sure what is in the bill.

The car isn't broken. Healthcare isn't broken. It's working. More Americans than ever before have healthcare. Fix what is broken and stop playing games with healthcare.
