Setting aside the fact the man is completely unqualified, it's very clear no one in the White House even attempted to vet him. If this isn't bad enough, it gets worse, much worse. It turns out their candidate, who was in charge of saving the President's life in the event of an emergency, was intoxicated while on duty and passed out while on trips to foreign countries with the President. At the point the Secret Service had to shut him down because he was making a scene in a hotel while banging on someone's door.

And it gets much, much better. The level of incompetence at the White House is staggering. During a press conference yesterday they asked if Dr. Johnson had ever been the subject of an IG investigation, to which the answer was no. Less than an hour later the same White House passed out copies of the IG investigation that nailed him to the cross, calling Dr. Jackson "child like" and lacking leadership.

This was ONE DAY in the White House. This is position that is usually completely bipartisan, and for the past few decades the White House nominee has always been passed by unanimous vote. The Trump Administration is so incompetent that they have completely screwed up something that should be very simple.

Trump promised to fix the problems the VA was having. What has been done at the VA in the past year? Not a god damn thing.

What was it in the news cycle the day before? How Trump is lying about how many nights he stayed in Moscow, when it's very easy to find out he got there Friday and left Sunday?

The day before that it was the guy who runs the EPA and all of his bullshit.

Every day there is bad news coming out of the White House.

You want to talk about a vision for the future? What is Trump's vision for the future?

What is the plan for Syria? He is telling us we've accomplished our mission, but yet we are still there.

What is his plan for North Korea? We have a gutted State Department, no Secretary of State, no ambassador in South Korea, and Trump is falling all over himself talking about a meeting where we have zero plan. Trump sent someone to North Korea a few weeks ago for secret meetings - which was really odd - and he failed to secure the release of three Americans being held there... Which is standard any time we have any kinds of talks with North Korea.

Trump has no plan and no vision at all. He does everything on the fly, and instead of getting advice from people who know what they are doing he gets advice from "friends" and then changes his mind at the last minute depending on who is the last person he talked to.

Trump has accomplished nothing since he's been in office.

Try to remember if any former president was so microscopically analyzed on a daily basis, with only the bad stuff being pulled out and presented in headlines.

This is not true at all. There are some things Trump does / wants that I agree with. I am not a Democrat; I wanted to vote Republican but I got stuck with a choice between Trump and Hillary.

Two examples off the top of my head....

I agree we need to build a wall. This is just common sense. We have a problem at our border, and we need to take action to fix it. However, with that said, building a wall is not going to fully end the problem. The vast majority of people who come to the US illegally do not go four wheeling through the desert, but come here legally and over stay. As for the drugs, they will go over the wall, under it, or around it. They are building submarines to carry drugs. At the very same time, here in Northern California, they just busted one hundred pot houses that are being run out of China of all places. We need to build a wall, but we cannot spend $600 billion for what will be a partial solution to our problem. I would love to build a sixty foot wall and have our military guarding a thirty mile buffer zone, but spending that kind of money to do it isn't going to happen. The president wants a sound bite that sounds good for his base "We are going to build a wall". Instead, the proper thing to do is to find out the areas where we have the most problems, and then spend $10 billion building walls there. The eventually goal should be to have a full wall across the entire southern border, combined with electronics surveillance with a fully staffed border patrol.

I also agree with the immigration ban. Again, common sense. We should not be accepting people from countries were terrorists are "bred". Syria and Yemen should be top of that list. Libya too. Afghanistan, Iraq, and Iran too. Pakistan comes to mind. These are just countries we do not trust. However, the Trump administration went about it completely wrong. They said "We are in charge and this is what we are doing" which obviously did not work being as this is still be dragged out in court as I type this morning. Instead, they should have gotten together with the Democrats and said "We believe these countries have issues" and should have worked on a plan that limited if not outright ended immigration from such countries.

I don't have a side. I am not subscribed to any political groups, newsletters, Facebook groups, etc. It's just that nearly every decision the White House is making is bad, and it's because of Trump.
