I have no idea. The GDP is an internal thing. GDP in Russia means nothing. I mean literally nothing. For example, in the Great Britain the earnings of street whores are included into GDP (officially!) In other countries your earnings will be included into GDP if you rent a flat or do a private taxi business, for example. Cool, good, great... but not in Russia. We just don't show all that money. Nowhere and to no one. Russians are getting their salaries in envelopes (so nobody knows how many) and course they don't pay tax from that. I don't see a single guy in line, because almost nobody needs his personal land, if it's more than five kilometers away from Moscow. For example, I have no land in Siberia. The land I can get with a few mouse clicks. What I will do to it? I have a land and houses (a few of them) near Volga river about 600 kilometers from Moscow which I bought for my mother because she was born there. But... personally I don't need that. So I even don't think about a land in Siberia.

You can still pay for apartments in cash (with a case with rubles, dollars or euros), you can get a whore (there is over 100 thousands of them just officially - simply imagine the traffic of the money they made every day) or you can just raise a hand on the street and stop any car driver w/o a taxi license to deliver yourself to anywhere. You can easily rent apartments in Moscow and the tax inspection won't get a ruble from it (to be honest, it will happen in 99% cases). Nobody pays a tax from that and course it's not included into the Russian GDP. This is about NOW, not about yesterday.
