The strength of gravity is directly proportional to the amount of mass of each object. The gravitational force increases as the size of an object increases. On the other hand, the strength of gravity is inversely related to the square of the distance between two objects.
Clearly has a relationship to mass. It also has a relationship to time, gravitational time dilation. We can't really define time, either, though we label it the 4th dimension. If gravity affects mass and space, effectively the third dimension, and time, effectively our way to perceive the 4th dimension, then it is clearly at least represented in 2 dimensions. |
Another way to look at gravity:
Imagine space is a liquid. Imagine atomic & sub-atomic particles as drain holes, in which the liquid of infinite space is constantly flowing into forever. The constant draining action creates micro-vortices, but in the 4th dimension (spherical). The higher number of "drain holes" in a given area = higher gravity. A comparison of this effect to something you're already familiar with: let's say you're at the bottom of a pool and the drain opens up. You're now drawn to the drain. If you get close enough to the drain, you're stuck to it. Hence, gravity. Astonishingly simple, when viewed in this way. |

I posted a paper a few years ago in which I postulated what was essentially a theory of quantum gravity. I've now worked out all of the math, and my first in a series of actual scientific papers is shortly going to be published in a reputable scientific journal. Subsequent papers will show how my new mathematical framework (which I call Geometric Relativistic Transformations, or GRTs) prove that gravity and electromagnetism are actually the same force (actually, both are curved spacetime that can be described by a single force equation). I'm starting to look for a good animator to produce a video that will explain my entire theory of quantum gravity from start to finish for those that are not inclined to read dense science and math of a journal paper. For those who are interested, I can give you this part of the equation that should blow your mind for real :) My technique generated a new equation for the Lorentz Factor (the number that tells us how spacetime gets warped by objects in relative motion). By comparing my equation to the traditional equation (of Einstein fame in special relativity), the solution to unification of forces becomes obvious. You see, in the traditional equation, there is a division by zero at the speed of light. By substitution of terms with my new equation, we can get rid of that problem. Here is the simple math: Lorentz factor traditional equation is (where "g" is the lorentz factor): g = 1/(root: (1-v^2/c^2)) that is 1 over the square root of 1-(velocity squared/speed of light squared) New equation: g = sec(arsin(B)) where B is the relative velocity. sec = secant and asin = arcsine I have proven that 1/(root: (1-v^2/c^2)) = g = sec(arsin(B)) This simple equation solves the problems with unification of relativity and quantum mechanics. Obviously I'm super excited :) I'll post when my first paper has been published! |
Idigmygirls, awesome work. Looking forward to that animation and do let us know about the publication. Plz take your theory to the next level by inventing an anti-gravity device. If you can identify exactly what gravity is down to that level of precision, then you can amplify it, nullify it, or otherwise use it to your advantage. Potentially free energy if you could, for example, put 2000 pounds of gravity on one side of a wheel and negative 2000 pounds on the other.

They actually now have observatories measuring gravity waves. These were used to detect colliding black holes 1.8 billion light years away. Pretty cool stuff
