So Trump is called a piece of shit for calling her out on it...and she actually DID this and is considered a "hero".

Kinda like WikiLeaks showing that the Clinton campaign was breaking laws and was corrupt and fucking Bernie Sanders out of his chance at the nomination....and Trump gets investigated while Hillary is a "hero".

Backwards world we live in.

she was raised being told she was part indian and it was her heritage. there were no DNA tests when she applied to college nor were DNA tests required.

I am so not taking a DNA test. My family history is "spotty" at best.

In short... My father was married in the early 1960s, had a daughter with his wife, then a week later had a son with another woman. This was "not allowed" in the 1960s. Four or five years later my mother met my father, had me, then died. Us three kids had no idea of any of this; It was completely hidden from us. My sister figured it out when she went to get her driver's license and discovered on her birth certificate her last name was Buss, which was changed a few years later when she was legally adapted by her step father. She had no idea the man she knew as her father wasn't in fact her father.

We've all met, although all three of us have never been together all at the same time. I don't speak to my sister much; She's become very religious after her fourth marriage. My brother and I get together once a year or once every other year, it's no big deal. It's kind of neat really.

But I don't want to do a DNA test only to discover everything we were told or everything we've discovered since is wrong. We also don't want any other brothers or sisters.

Oh bullshit. Inform yourself

Warren herself didn’t trumpet this side of her family story. When applying to college and law school, records show that she either identified as white or declined to apply based on minority status.

Conclusion. While the vast majority of the individual’s ancestry is European, the results strongly support
the existence of an unadmixed Native American ancestor in the individual’s pedigree, likely in the range

But you do not have scientific proof, do you? You accept it because it is what you have been told. It is part of you and you do not need to question it.

That is what personal history and family history is all about.

Warren was told by her family that she is part Cherokee and she had no more reason to doubt it than you do. And again, there is nothing wrong with being proud of your heritage no matter what it is.

Quote:

Gloria Wysong, a cousin, said that her mother told her that the family's heritage "was Delaware, but the Delaware and Cherokee merged together."

And David Herring, Warren’s brother, said he grew up hearing, "Your grandfather is part Delaware, a little bitty bit, way back, and your grandmother is part Cherokee."

It still is not scientific proof. Here they hold Pow Wows at one of the local community colleges. That does not mean that the college is a Native American college or that the land is tribal land.

I do NOT doubt you or your beliefs regarding your ancestry. That you think your personal proof is more important or reliable than someone else's personal proof is what I question.

Politifact?
Facts?
Those two things don't go together.
They are nothing more than a biased source of opinion that cherry picks want they want to see.

Warren repeatedly used the line that she was native American her whole life.

You would have to be blind if you can't look at her and plainly see she was LYING the entire time.
And why would she do that?
How would it benefit her to make that shit up?

Think about it...and don't let some reporter do your thinking for you and try to tell you something is a "fact" when it's only his analysis

The only FACT is that she lied about her heritage in order to get ahead.

Although critics have charged that Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has advanced her career with a narrative that she is a distant descendant of Cherokee and Delaware tribes, Harvard University never considered her ethnicity when it hired her as a law professor, according to a report Saturday.

The Boston Globe reported interviews and documents showed that the issue was not considered by Harvard Law faculty when it considered her application in the 1990s.

The report also saw no consideration of her race when she applied to work at Rutgers, the University of Houston, the University of Texas or the University of Pennsylvania.

(Warren changed her listed ethnicity to Native American in December 1989, nearly three years after she was hired as a white woman by the University of Pennsylvania Law School)

In September 2018, the Boston Globe published the results of an investigation over whether Warren was hired at Harvard because “had decided to self-identify as a Native American woman and Harvard saw a chance to diversify the law faculty.” The Globe concluded that:

"In the most exhaustive review undertaken of Elizabeth Warren’s professional history, the Globe found clear evidence, in documents and interviews, that her claim to Native American ethnicity was never considered by the Harvard Law faculty, which voted resoundingly to hire her, or by those who hired her to four prior positions at other law schools. At every step of her remarkable rise in the legal profession, the people responsible for hiring her saw her as a white woman.

The Globe examined hundreds of documents, many of them never before available, and reached out to all 52 of the law professors who are still living and were eligible to be in [on the decision]. Some are Warren’s allies. Others are not. Thirty-one agreed to talk to the Globe — including the law professor who was, at the time, in charge of recruiting minority faculty. Most said they were unaware of her claims to Native American heritage and all but one of the 31 said those claims were not discussed as part of her hire. One professor told the Globe he is unsure whether her heritage came up, but is certain that, if it did, it had no bearing on his vote on Warren’s appointment

Trump denies offering $1 million for Warren DNA test, even though he did

"I didn't say that. You'd better read it again," Trump told reporters at the White House when asked about his $1 million offer.

During a campaign rally on July 5, Trump taunted Warren for her claims of Native American ancestry, a staple of his campaign stump speeches.

"I will give you a million dollars, to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian," Trump said at the time. "I have a feeling she will say 'no.'"

but he also turns another curve.

how funny is the following:

Quote:

Russian interference in the 2016 election

Asked after his Putin comments whether he thought Moscow meddled in the 2016 presidential election, Trump said he didn't think it was just Russia.

Her DNA summary suggests a range of 6-10 generations. Being realistic and expanding that fairly for inaccuracies, let's say by 2 gens, she could conceivably be only 4 generations from her Indian ancestor.

I was watching the History Channel one day about Genghis Khan and it said that he fathered so many women with the women he raped across Asia and Europe that 1 in every 200 men have his DNA.

That means that many of us on this forum have that DNA in us.

Does that mean that we are of Mongolian "heritage"???

Fuck no.
1 in 200 men direct descendants of Genghis Khan - Gene Expression

Elizabeth Warren claimed to be "Native American" to take advantage of rules and policy's that help Native Americans through affirmative action.

As for Harvard University CLAIMING that they didn't do that...remember they got in a LOT of trouble in the past for doing shit (they were biased against Jews just a few years ago), and are in the news right now for being biased against Asians.
So I wouldn't trust them to tell the truth about this because it would be yet another embarrassment for them based on racial admittance guidelines.

I love his tweet about the Dow falling 1000 points should lead to impeachment of the president. He lies all the time about everything and no one cares.

Fucking Pocahantas and the fake news media.

She is not even close. But they back her up.

Truth has no meaning on either side. We are now a Latin American type country. Just say whatever. No one cares. Spit on the flag, wrap yourself in it. Same difference. Huge deficit in his first year. No one cares. Coal and tax cuts for the rich and people think he is a god send. This is like so unreal 24/7.
