THE VERY SAME PEOPLE WHO COVERED UP HER EMAIL SCANDAL BEGAN THE "RUSSIA COLLUSION" INVESTIGATION. Is that clear enough? They were SURE she would win... To make sure they covered up her email scandal and began the Russia collusion ordeal to solidify it in order to assure their seat at her table as President..... |

Why do you keep bringing up Hillary with the Republican party has investigated her dozens of times and told us she is innocent of all crimes? |
And you're saying that forced the trump admin to lie?

For the people. Cohen was Trump's lawyer. He felt bullet-proof thinking he could do whatever and trump will just pardon him.
Instead, he was gone a month after investigations began... Why? Because the guy knows too much. Not only was he Trump's lawyer, he was also the vice-president of the trump Org, special counsel to trump, co-president of trump entertainment, board member of the eric trump foundation, owns several homes in trumps buildings, is an "art of the deal" fanatic, convinced his family to move to trump world tower AND was deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee... And much much more. This guy got ivanka to recant rape allegations. Cohen is not a regular person, he was Trump's pitbull. This man proved trump lied about hush money to Karen lol. In other words, Trump admin is fucked. |

It ain't my case. I'm just watching. You act like I want the president of my country to get caught doing fuckshit. I don't. But it is what it is.
Trump is getting beat at his own game. He wanted all these investigations, got one back. Turns out he's in some serious shit now. |

Let's just assume that Hillary is corrupt and she covered up something with her emails.
Obviously, she did get away with it then. The current investigation of Mueller has not got to the level Ken Star's investigation of lying about having sex with a intern. Hardly a offense against the state. Not enough evidence found to convict Hillary. Sometimes it happens that way in the end. But it has nothing to do with the current POTUS doing even worse. One crime can not excuse another. This investigation will only be stopped because there may be to many folks in government with a interest in keeping secrets from the people. Should I excuse Hillery's potential crimes by saying Dick Chaney committed crimes of the state by creating misinformation to lead us into deliberate war with a nation that never attack us ? If there are provable crimes, they should be punished. Cheney did not even get a investigation. Or at least we left it at the doorstep of bad intel (generated by Chaney himself). I wonder why that is... something Hillary did ? Want to have some insight as to how this populist lead will look for the US if it continues... Look at Venezuela. This was a left wing populist and it works the same way left or right. Sorry that you fell for it, but don't make me suffer with it along with you. There is often no way back until everything collapses. All the organized crime moves in and takes over. Nothing but propaganda lives. Nobody to truly believe in. Nobody has a true interest in help people. Self serving only. |

Nixon was a career politician for decades. Of course he was involved in shady government scandals. Trump isn't trying to obstruct anything. He's the one who has the goods on all the crimes of the previous administration. Weaponizing the DoJ to spy on him and his campiagn team is a major crime. Makes Watergate look like girl scouts stealing a box of cookies. But yeah, let's keep focusing on Russia because MSM says the election was rigged lol :1orglaugh |

Well, I certainly do not have the need to convince anyone. But it's going to get super interesting what comes out as early as Tuesday.
Fake Trump is going to look like he is in fake jail vary fakey soon. And I'm not going to care if it is some plot from Hillary and Obama quite honestly ! Mueller has been taking his time till after the elections. And one other important thing. Getting trump to believe the investigation was about over so he would submit his answers to those questions. Now it is bring it on mode. Expecting some new indictments every week to the end of the year. I truly think it's going to look pretty bad for trump even before the new house takes their seats. He is not going to want to be on the road, but back home where he can control his mess. I figure the meeting with chinese leader will be very brief. The senate has quietly intervened in support for Ukraine where they can and have the power to do just as they have more publicly with Saudi Arabia. The senate republicans are at a end in support for trump now. The majority of them are up for re-election in 2 years. As well many of them want to challenge him for the top seat. Yep, I'd say nutn to worry about... even if it goes 779.5 more days Sit back and watch the show ! See democracy in action. It's not always pretty. |

I think a lot of people have completely forgotten or don't know about Watergate. Not only did a President resign in disgrace, it took out dozens and dozens of people. Watergate went on after Nixon resigned. Sixty-nine people were indicted; Forty-nine of them were found guilty of crimes. This is going to be much, much worse. With Nixon, he resigned because five men broke into a political office, they tried to cover it up, and they discovered they were using campaign money for all kinds of illegal things. While breaking into the office of your opponents is one thing, and bad enough, but this is on a whole different scale.... We are talking about a political candidate working directly with a foreign government to steal an election. This is treason. And that is just the tip of the iceberg. We already know there was obstruction of justice, lying under oath every time we turn around.... But this might go much, much deeper. All of Trump's money for the past two decades has been coming from Russia. All of the banks he is using is involved in laundering for Russians. The majority of the property Trump sells is bought by Russians - who never even visit the properties they buy. Keep in mind Watergate took over six years. We are only two years in with Mueller. |
Quote:
1st thing is, over the next 6 weeks, the amount of data in the public eye will just be overwhelming. Trump already has a issue with time to deal with it all. He can't get anyone to work on his legal staff as it is. Nobody wants 'tainted' or worse. By the time new house members are seated, this will consume all of his time as POTUS. Just like nixon, I think some deal may be worked out in leniency if he just resigns. But this will not relieve him of charges in state courts, that will proceed if he resigns. Not sure how that will play out. Nobody wants to drag the country through this kind of hell. But I am sure there will be those that will want the proper punishment for treason. But it really does not serve the country's interest. Trumps organization should be allowed to unfold as the debit as it is. Some banks are not going to like it. I think Mueller has his hands busy trying to grab those involved in the money laundering that provides trump with the cash flow he has to have to maintain those loans and get more of them. It's kinda like a pyramid scheme. So that is the only thing I see slowing it down at this point. Perhaps he will throw that to the states AG's where it does not concern him as much. But that is the tight rope Mueller is really walking, so they have the capability to get as many participants as they can. I don't see trump as the major issue anymore. It's the rest of the participants. Many Russian's and Saudi's and ???. But I think you can be assured that this will continue till jan 20 so Mueller can hand over particular documentation to the house judicial committee. Since the AG will just burn it when he is done. If he is able to 'show trumps crimes', it will come last. Once he has done that, there is no going after those other folks. I am a bit tossed on punishment. A large part of me wants hard jail time for all involved. The other part of me wants peace a civility in government and society and to finally move forward. All of this BS has set the progress of the whole world back. But I can't see this taking more than a year no matter how you split those hairs. Unless we are stuck in a constitutional crisis whereas trump tries to pardon himself and/or AG fires or limits Mueller. You can see where this sorta stuff will delay things if it gets that far. Who knows what we have not imagined could happen in the courts. If you read trumps book, you would know he defends by throwing out all kinds of offensive BS 100x more and keeps everything tied up and expensive to prosecute. Something he learned from his fathers attorney who went on to work for him. It has worked very well for him. I really try not to get to set on my opinions because it could be much worse than I have imagined. We shall have some clues next week. But yes, this is much worse than Nixon as it stands now. I'm not sure the American public can digest it all. |

I agree with you that the Democrats will start bitch smacking Trump in January. During the Obama administration the Republicans went on the war path investigating Hillary Clinton for no reason other than to make her look bad. Now we have a President in office who is more or less being accused of working with the Russians to rig an election and a single investigation is turning up indictment after indictment, and the Republicans are silent. This tells us all we need to know - The Republican party starts investigations without proper reasons for political purposes, but when we have legitimate reasons to believe the President has committed serious crimes that might include treason and might lead to impeachment, they have zero interest in investigations. The party that talks about security and promises to protect us isn't protecting us at all. We need to hold our government officials accountable. All of them. What happened when Ford pardoned Nixon was horrible. No one should be above the law, including the President. If the investigation ends and recommends charges for President Trump, we should move to impeach him, remove him office, and have a trial. We need to send a very strong message that says we will hold our government officials accountable. And we will in fact throw a former President in prison if required. We also need to have trials for anyone else who has broken laws. This obviously includes the Trump children. Then.... We need to investigate the cover up and see if anyone in Congress was involved in this. I want to know if the Republicans in Congress were involved in a cover up in any way. They just shot down a bill that would have protected Mueller; I want to know if the Trump White House worked with Republicans to shoot it down. If the Trump worked with the Republicans in Congress to stop a law that would have protected the man investigating Trump, that might have been a crime. At the very least the public should know about this. I agree with you that all of this will spill out in the public domain, and it's going to get nasty. The deeper this gets the more Trump's base is leaving him. The hardcore supporters will go crazy over this. This is going to be interesting to watch. |

Anyway, there is some more enlightening doc's on PBS Frontline. Good watch. I don't blame Ford for the Pardon. I understand his situation. But the levels of crime here are much higher, and I'm just not sure if I can go along with it again. All in all I think it has been a good lesson for democracy for those that have never seen it tested this way since the patriot act. I took a lot of crap back then for speaking out against it. One more poor use of patriotism. But yes, I think that some of these leads may find there way to the senate and house. But you never know. That's why I want to see it through no matter how long it takes. Ya know, under normal circumstances, a Republican POTUS would be saber rattling big time over Ukraine. But not so... It just adds to the optics of looking very bad in light of any accusations. I look forward to new rules to prevent all of this from happening again. Congress needs to 'define' some new things like if a POTUS can't pardon himself. Separating who can dispose of special council and for what reasons. There needs to be some checks by other government bodies. Tax returns for 6 years prior must be mandated for the office in application. -This one item would have prevented him from being elected in the first place. The public should know. They can spin it however they want. Beyond that, rules must change to allow any piece of legislation with at least 2 members support or sponsorship can get a vote on the floor of the senate. 6 in the house. One person should not be able to prevent lawmakers from making laws or moving SC nominee's for a vote. Furthermore, once some of this stuff is in place, it should take 60% to pass any legislation and 66% to change the rules of the bodies of congress. That will bring back bi-partisanship just because everyone has something they want to pass and deals will be made just like it use to be. The rhetoric will go down quite a bit. Hard to talk down something you had a vote in for after the fact. But I'm just not sure anything can be done about the judicial committees of the respective bodies. Perhaps some internal rule changes are in order. I don't know how you can remove political influence on those decisions. It was obvious and probably always going to be a issue for either party. |

Well, thank goodness Hillary isn't in office then !!
She can just quietly run her child sex shop in the basement of pizza shops that have no basement. Glad to see some have something to do with their life. Hillary was quite responsible for the sanctions that hit the Russian oligarch's in the pocket. Just ask Trump, that's why he couln't build and launder more money through a new property in Russia that was to be financed by one of them. Now everyone can see where the hate was generated from. Putin's revenge for it is Trump. |
