IMHO, a wall stretching from the gulf of Mexico to the Pacific ocean isn't going to stop anything. If somehow that wall miraculously manages to be high enough for nobody to get over it, low enough for nobody to get under it and wide enough for nobody to get around it... The drugs will just shift back to the carribean/east coast like the good ol 80s and the immigrants/assylum seekers will still be coming in... Through Florida. Build a wall around that.

If you look at Israel's wall or the Berlin wall, you must remember that both were/are backed up with live firing on civilians, thousands have been shot/ exploded.. for attempting to cross those walls. The wall its self is just a symbol thing, but if its not backed up with the mass slaughter of civilians trying to cross.. it wont do nothing, and even then they'll still come.

Australia for example has a 2000 mile wall of water, if anyone attempts to cross that water, they catch them and lock them up in another country for years.

BUT.. and reality pill time, that's less than 1%, the vast majority of Australia's estimated 100,000 illegal immigrants FLY in, and then out stay their visas.

All laws are only meant to deter or punish. That's exactly what the Wall is meant to do.
