Keep telling yourself that Democrats are doing what they are doing solely because they hate Trump and Republicans will continue to lose elections.
Most Democrats want a healthcare system that works for everyone regardless of preexisting conditions or income level, an education system that allows people to get a college (or trade school) education without massive, crippling debt, an immigration policy that stems the tide of illegals, deals with those that are here, and doesn't involve an expensive wall that likely won't help much, and an economy that makes more higher paying jobs. Most of the Democrats that ran and won in the 2018 midterms ran on these policies and others. While they took these ideas to the voters, Republicans sat around thinking, "All Democrats have is Orange Man Bad," and we see how that turned out for them.
So go on thinking this. The Democrats thank you for your help. |
