I post in the "fucking around" section when I feel like "fucking around" sometimes it is industry topics and most the time it's politics because that's mostly what the top 12 posters in the "fucking around section post, or I post YouTube videos or other random shit. As much as you want to blame me for all your bitching and moaning about GFY, and ignore every other daily poster in the "fucking around" section, the "fucking around" section is for "fucking around". Deal with it or bendover for more you stupid bitch. |
Seems like a good time to bump this thread as well.

A forum needs better moderation than GFY has at the moment, certain users need stopping from posting or bumping multiple threads in a day. Bladderwire and Crickett are the worse offenders. https://gfy.com/search.php?searchid=117564 Crickett 3 a day https://gfy.com/search.php?searchid=117566 Bladderwire, now add all his fake nicks. https://gfy.com/search.php?searchid=117568 Bladderwire the 2nd https://gfy.com/search.php?searchid=117570 But you're left with the problem of a lack of business threads. It's no good people bleating they can't come here to learn, if today no one is interested in teaching them. What do you do, what can you tell us about your business, what can you teach people, what can you discuss regarding business, what do you want to learn? Answer those andwe can start more business threads. |
The only way for GFY to grow is to start becoming a place to promote your sites to consumers. As main stream increasingly makes porn posts harder there is a need for a forum to replace them.
A Twitter and FB for porn and all things adult related. Cam girls can have their own forum posting interesting things about their day in front of the camera. Hookers the same, models and cameramen the same. At first it will only need one forum, but as it grows it can be split to target traffic better. Let's face it B2B is dwindling, B2C is the only way. |
too late.

This thread was started on 03-02-2019 and has an over whelming vote for a business section and more business threads. In that time how many of the 34 who voted yes have started or replied to a business thread?
There is no call for a separate forum, no desire for more business threads only a lot of whining from people for something they're not prepared to work for themselves. |

I have that fake sold account on ignore and normally I use the excellent code from Mr Pheer https://www.gfy.com/fucking-around-a...08818-gfy.html so I wouldn't see the quote, but I'm on a friend's device. Apparently, even though he bought a nick which used to be owned by an industry person, that person didn't bother to explain that, when people discuss business, they discuss evolving tech, seek partners/sponsors/vendors, mention what they are up to, maybe share some free stuff. I both start and reply to business threads. I've gotten some great insights here and I'm generous with my own knowledge. FFS, I've spoken on show panels and I've done the official education thread stuff on GFY too: https://gfy.com/gfy-educational-seri...che-sites.html Nobody actually in this business would try to shame someone for trying to make the conversation more about things webmasters care about like SSL or hosting or password protection or who I could send joins to etc. Those types of topics are literally the point. Plus the now fake nick politics troll posted with positive excitement in all of my threads with free samples of my photography from SpookyCash. Maybe under the old owner. Maybe the new nick owner before I put him on ignore. |

I was always pretty friendly with squirtit (even into some of the time after the nick was changed to Bladewire) so I'm baffled. |

i think it's the other way around: if the threads started making sense again, it would lure in more commenters. the responsibility lies with the active userbase. |
