I would consolidate where it makes sense. Once the various forums get flooded with a given sort of topic, then breakout. Similar to the politics and Buy/Sell angle.

Different sub forums for various topics that only get a handful of posts daily is not beneficial to anyone.

I agree totally. There are several subjects/verticals that makes sense but step by step. We will make a new thread now about that and ideas/improvements in general, so we can all discuss about it.

Here is my opinion about posting news: it's ok as long you post your unique commentary to it. Just copy pasting URL and article content is stupid and does not contribute anything, as same could be accomplished by installing RSS feeder or any other news processor.

i agree but there are so many places that use content curation to get people talking. mostly all the stuff i post gets comments. mostly good. anyhoo my news days are mostly done

I wanted to say even as someone who posted way too much political shit, I think the forum is looking good. I think there wasn't much going on and was no moderation for years so many of us just ran amok arguing with each other..

Epass hit a lot of us.. It's 100% the reason I got out. The TGP biz was dead by that time anyway but epass was the final nail in the coffin for many of us..

Also don't just blame the tubes.. it was all the assholes pushing xsales, who helped feed the tubes money.. You want to blame the death of the affiliates look at Manwin...afterall hw bought them all up and ran them..with all the millions he made banging peole's credit cards..

Oh and let's also not forget the entire econemy crashed at the same time... blaming the tubes is over simplified

There were some restrictions put into effect in the USA against young people applying for credit cards at that time as well. Curbing the ability of the 18-twentysomething crowd to purchase our goods hurt this industry probably as much as the tubes. It was the perfect storm.
