Yes, that was part of the deal with the acquisition

Xvideos will be next. Looking through social media it seems the writing is on the wall.

Visa/Mastercard never really liked that, that's why Pornhub.com never was selling memberships and processing credit cards - only PornhubPremium.com was.

This is not good enough for VISA/MC anymore after all this bad press.

Tubes will have to stick to legally licensed content that has a clear owner and producer on file, that's all.

See this is what exactly happened. Pornhub just got rid off all user uploaded videos without ownership to solve the situation:
https://www.pornhub.com/blog/11422

They went down from 13.5 million videos to only 2.9 million videos overnight.

At Pornhub, the safety of our community is our top priority. Last week, we enacted the most comprehensive safeguards in user-generated platform history. We banned unverified uploaders from posting new content, eliminated downloads, and partnered with dozens of non-profit organizations, among other major policy changes (please read here for more details).

As part of our policy to ban unverified uploaders, we have now also suspended all previously uploaded content that was not created by content partners or members of the Model Program. This means every piece of Pornhub content is from verified uploaders, a requirement that platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat and Twitter have yet to institute.
An article on the change: https://www.vice.com/en/article/jgqj...videos-content

I'm sure VISA Mastercard etc will just sit on the case for a couple of months, then lift the ban since the site is clean now.

And then Pornhub will actually be able to process credit cards on their main domain too, possibly.

I agree. The public outrage spotlight can only last so long before attention moves elsewhere. Provided they stay clean, they'll probably have full processing capabilities back in the near future.

Of course I don't hope they drop adult overall, it would affect me as well (it did already this year when Paysite Cash died).

I am not saying anything different, my comment of "being nice" was directed at the specific post I quoted.

All of my videos stayed on PornHub and ModelHub this week.

It helped to meet the staff in person at AVN Amsterdam and XBIZ Berlin, both in 2017, so they knew who I was.

Some of my accounts have vids, some not. It's just a pain in the ass

I doubt this. The Visa ban will be permanent. Last year PayPal (via Epoch) terminated its relationship with PH - I expect Visa to do the same. The faux-incest videos could be a problem going forward...for many sites. Visa added incest to their Core Rules and Regulations of prohibited content only last year. Will see how this develops, but there is no chance Visa is going to restore processing. Half of MindGeeks revenue has just vanishing, overnight. Sad.

Ever since epoch got paypal it’s like living with your mother in law in a modular home with no air conditioner.

I am glad they are being moved to verified legal content as well as assuring content owners will be compensated.
