Before that i was dating a fire cracker 27 year old beauty that liked to do coke and get fucked... and I was madly in love.

If its going to ruin my life, I'm all in.

So yea, I've decided to abstain from dating till I figure that out hahah

Feel this, in the different way though. Recently ditched the best long term partner i've ever had because she doesn't speak the language i'm trying to learn... may regret that one in a few years but fuck it... goals before holes if you know what i'm sayin

I quit drinking about a year ago. I'll be 40 in 2 months. I wish I had never started.

If you´re from Spain, Italy or France you´d think differently...

even the police stop at bars in the morning for a brandy coffee, a beer for lunch & a glass of wine for dinner.

Europeans always drink wine with lunch & a nice glass of cold beer when out in the bar.

Living until you´re 100 is good, i suppose why would we want to live until we´re 105.

With the diet of olives, meat & dairy, good food, good wine daily doesn´t make a problem to life :thumbsup

Although, just to get this right, my first comment was meant in jest :1orglaugh

Oh, I love the culture in Italy or Spain, been there many times...and I understand its nice to have a glass of wine with a good dinner sometimes...but having alcohol daily is not good and it wouldn't be even fun. Having a glass once or twice a week is no issue, but more than that, I am not even sure it would be as much fun. For me, that is.

No weed in over 2 weeks!

Boozing MUCH less!

Drinking a REDBALLS at the moment so I can pull an all-nighter to code 'til dawn... NEED TO GET OUT OF POVERTY!!! POVERTY IS THE WORST FOR YOUR HEALTH!!!

the benefits of a glass of wine daily.

Regarding a beer daily, like half a pint or a can, maybe a bottle, but just the one daily...
research has associated its consumption with benefits such as increased bone density, less hip problems when older. An improved gut health and better lipid levels.

About wine...there is this misconception about antioxidants, mainly resveratrol, which really is beneficial to health. But what most articles fail to mention is that to get enough resveratrol in the body from wine, we would need to drink probably 100 litres a day. The tiny amount in one glass isn't even noticed by the body and surely doesn't make up for all the bad that alcohol contains.

And beer is just liquid bread, which is not healthy even in its regular form. Most people would benefit by cutting bread completely out of their diets.

But like I said...everything is fine in moderation...when it comes to alcohol, the less the better. :)

Lips ears and assholes that has been dead for who knows how long even if it’s frozen. Form relationships with farmers. Get it fresh. Start with a heart or even 1/4 heart from a grass fed cow or game animal. Avocado and Celtic salt is all you need to eat with it. Chinese proverb says eat the organ that you want to heal on your own body. That’s why I eat testicles because I’m 50 and this is when men turn into bitches. When I was in my 20s, I miss took a middle-aged white man as an old woman and it was very embarrassing. I told myself I was never gonna end up all pudgy and pale and soft and weak. To me that’s a fate worse than death.

Take a trip through Bordeaux and buy up the stuff they don’t send to the dupes in far away countries. That will fix your craving for wine because everything else taste like swill. California, Oregon and Washington Wine is bullshit and so is everything from Australia and many other countries. Some dude in Germany took me on a tour of the wine offerings there, and even that was bunk compared to Bordeaux.

we drink a lot of cava here, and only a few years ago, found out, cava is the original champagne. It´s made the same traditional way as Champagne, unlike prosecco from Italy, the bubbles come from the fermentation in the bottle, where as prosecco comes from the bubbles being forced in each bottle like a soda stream.

Anyway, Champagne, the district in France, liked the cava from Spain & simply copyrighted the name to their area, hence why Champagne only comes from the area of France.

Cava´s like 3 quid a bottle & taste just as nice, infact some tastes better...

& of course, we get plenty of Rioja here too :thumbsup

The positive things mentioned are a lot of MAY do this or MAY do that, but on the negative side it says there is an increased risk of cancer, the only question is by how much. So to me it makes as much sense to drink alcohol as to smoke, its just asking for trouble.

I think it comes down to luck.

There was a dude I knew in the 2010's who was a health freak, vegetarian, drank carrot juice, never smoke, never drank, had some super high paid job doing blueprints or something. I'm not 100% sure. He was ripped and did this "peak to peak" hike of Vancouver's north shore mountains that I couldn't even do HALF of which is something like a 50 kilometer mountain trail in like 14 hours or something... multiple times a year! Also played soccer and was basically a goody-two shoes. I only knew him because he was the brother of a bar chick I was friends with.

He got some weird cancer, not sure which, and went from being 100% healthy to dead in 6 months. Absolutely ridiculous luck of the draw. Fucking so sad. Meanwhile his sister was a drunk even worse than me and snorted any line put in front of her. She's still alive as far as I know. RIP Buddy.

everything they say is good and bad for you is the may do this and may do that...

i lost my mum to cancer and she didn´t smoke or drink, apart from good times, christmas and vacations...

my partners uncle died from a heart attack in his 40´s, no drinking or smoke, pretty much ever...

others i know drink & smoke 40 a day live until they´re 90...

so what gives :2 cents:

Yes, you can do everything "right" and end up dead within a month. But we can increase or decrease the probability of a long and healthy life, at least. If I do my best and it still won't be enough, at least I will know I did what I could, some things I can control and some I can't.
