I wouldn't want a tattoo so big that it would take that long. After a certain point, it just gets tacky. Well, some people can pull-off a sleeve or whatever, but I am not one of them.

Yup! After about 20mins I don't feel anything...sort of numb out. However, I have only done 2 hours, and I fell asleep during that ;)

I also have a huge needle phobia, but getting a tattoo is nothing like getting an injection or having blood drawn. I would rather get a tattoo every day for a week than have my blood drawn once! It's fine if the needle is only piercing those first few layers of skin, but anything deeper than that I can't handle. Anybody else get this way?

6 hours? That's nothing!

I did 12 hours on the shoulder neck piece, and the zombie head was 8 hours. Both 1 sitting no breaks. 12 straight hours!

I'm working on a shoulder to shoulder tatoo piece, I don't have any right now..I've wanted to get some for a while but somehow or another just didn't happen. I almost took you up on your Hawaiian getaway but I'm too busy right now :winkwink:
